I booked the property through expedia. On day we were to arrive the property told us that they did not have our reservation and were fully booked. Then when going through Expedia for a refund I was told the property was not giving one? Not sure how you took my money but don't work with Expedia and have no rooms available? Called the property multiple times with no answer for any type of clarification, all done through Expedia messages. Horrible experience and had to book elsewhere

#### Wonderful and relaxing
I really enjoyed my stay at Villa Velestovo. It is nicely located in the mountains with a lovely view to the lake. I was mainly there to work, and the WIFI was working without problems, Very silent and relaxing, but less than 10 minutes by car to the city of Ohrid. The staff is very nice and helpful and the rooms are spacy and with good facilities and nice information on local activities etc. In the hotels.com information, it says \*Close to the beach', which is somewhat misleading, considered that it is located in the mountains, and takes about 45 minutes of walk to get to the lake. But if you prefer being a little away from the city, that can be pretty crowdy in the summertime, it is perfect.

This apartment was in Velestovo which is a bit further out of the main central town but the views over the bay and the lake are fantastic. The owners have really thought of every possible need that you may have and the place is lovely. Highly recommend!
