Wurthmann House Unit #1 Your Home Away From Home

The charming building has a rich history with origins dating back to as early as the mid-1800s. The original structure burnt down and was rebuilt in 1918, but it is believed that parts of the early foundation still remain. It has operated as numerous businesses and has seen a handful of owners throughout its life. This newly-restored two bedroom suite upstairs features chestnut window and floor trim, hardwood floors, locally-made Amish furniture, and beautiful views of historic downtown Berlin.

We always enjoy staying here. Beautifully decorated and clean. Beds are so comfy. Our favorite part is relaxing on balcony in evenings. We love to watch the buggies go by. Will be back.

I'd stay there again! If your stay is to be in the heart of Amish country this place works. Really nice accommodations and sitting on the upstairs deck watching people go by was entertaining and relaxing. I don't have any suggestions that would have made our stay any better, everything was Great. Just be prepared for everything in town to be closed on Sunday, after all it's Amish country.

The property is located in town which was very convenient. The deck was awesome. We played cards out there until midnight. Highly recommend this site for an enjoyable stay in Berlin. We are already planning on reserving the place for our next visit to the Amish Country Theature.

The Wurthmann house is so homey, such a perfect place to celebrate our anniversary. The location is right in the heart of it all!! We were able to walk back to the room whenever we wanted. They even left us some local popcorn for a treat and a coffee cup to take home. Thanks so much!! We will be back!!
