Paradise Found - E113 at North Coast Village Paradise Found is an ocean-close, west-facing condo with breathtaking views of the ocean and harbor. Enjoy watching the surfers, sailboats, and dolphins while you have breakfast on your balcony. This exclusive 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath single-story corner unit has 1040 square feet of living space. One room features a California King bed with dual corner windows offering a stunning harbor view. The other bedroom has two queen beds. The beautiful wood-look porcelain tile floors give the place a casual beach vibe and are also practical. The condo is beautifully furnished with a sofa, three chairs, and an ottoman. Upgrades include re-textured ceilings, three ceiling fans, new designer paint, remodeled bathrooms with designer tile, and a walk-in shower in the secondary bathroom. The unit also has three TVs, complimentary Internet and cable, and linens and towels. Make My Vacation provides beach chairs and beach towels, as well as a Living Room TV for entertainment and free wireless Internet. As you walk through the staffed secure gate to North Coast Village you are transported to a tropical oasis reminiscent of the Costa Rican Rain Forest. Running streams, waterfalls, lush foliage, and Koi meander through the spacious grounds of this resort-like beachfront condominium complex in Oceanside California. You will notice the crystal clear heated pool and spa, gleaming barbecues, convenient picnic tables, sand rinsing stations to remove the lingering beach. If you need a break from sun and surf, you might enjoy a game of pool, a jog on a treadmill in the exercise room, a little ping pong, or a sauna. Feeding our giant Koi is a simple pleasure not to be missed during your Oceanside visit. When you venture all the way through the back gates, you find yourself on one of North San Diego County’s finest beaches: broad and flat, with fire rings, volleyball, and great surf breaks - right out back! Be sure to stake out a fire ring for a unique evening beach fire at least one night while you are in Oceanside. To the north, you can walk or bike to Oceanside’s busy little harbor for a bite to eat or some boating, and to the south, you can venture down the strand to southern California’s longest pier for some fishing (no license needed). North Coast Village is close enough to walk to everything near the beach, so your car can stay in its secure underground parking spot - especially useful when beach parking becomes a premium in the summer. I would have appreciated an email from the property owner sooner than the day before we checked in, but once it came, all the information needed was there for an easy check in. The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, utensils, and cookware, which was greatly appreciated. The only concern was the neighbor above could be heard walking and moving furniture around until after midnight on our first night. Having beach equipment stored in the closet was so nice and the wagon to pull our stuff to the beach was another enjoyable feature. Plenty of towels and blankets. They are a great property management company - easy to contact, very helpful and easy to deal with. Unit (E 113) was clean, nicely decorated, kitchen well stocked (though I prefer stainless steel cookware instead of supplied non stick cookware). Beds/pillows very comfortable. Good view of ocean - some beautiful sunsets and always the wonderful sound of ocean waves. Disappointed in the shower, either hot or freezing cold and there was water hammering in the pipes at times as well. The dishwasher worked OK. Wi-Fi worked most of the time - sometime did need to use our own data to get a connection (have had same issue in other units at Northcoast Village). Have stayed at NCV 8 times in a variety of units - and those with carpet instead of tile flooring are much quieter from the persepctive of noise carrying to other units. The unit above ours (E-213) has tile flooring - so fairly noisy - that was disappointing. NCV is an older, gated complex. It is very well maintained, the security team seems to do a good job and the gardens are beautiful!Side Note - we love eating at the LTH (Local Tap House)in Oceanside - great food! ##### Heidi F. ### 6/10 Okay #### Ann J. Aug 17, 2023 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Good location and space but could use some improvements This unit had plenty of space and was in a very good location and was clean but I do feel like it could use some improvements. Upon arrival the unit was musty smelling, I'm sure the it was due to lack of air circulation so it would be nice if they could have left a fan on after cleaning or provided some kind of air freshener. We did open all windows and ran the fans and it was much better a few hours later. The view was nice but do be aware it is blocked by the building directly in front of you a bit. I think the side view from the 2nd bedroom was best. For a 2 bedroom unit there could have been more towels provided considering the washers and dryers are not in the unit but in a shared laundry room and are not free so it was not convenient to re-wash the towels after use. For the cost of rental I think more towels should be included. There was also no kleenex which was a bit odd for a "fully stocked" unit. We did have an issue when we first arrived as the CO2 unit was beeping and when I called the assistance # they said they couldn't come out until the next day and I had to climb onto a chair to remove it and throw it away (there was no way to access a battery or to turn it off) to keep it from beeping all day. They never did come out to replace it while we were there either. Overall it was a nice stay and I am not fully against this unit but I would look at other options before choosing to stay in this unit again. ##### Ann J. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay in Oceanside. Nothing better than waking up to the sound of the ocean and seeing surfers. I look forward to duplicating my experience next year as I have committed to the month of January next year again. I was disappointed in the shower, either scolding hot or freezing cold and there was water hammering at times as well. The dishwasher didn't work correcting as dishes never got cleaned after running it. Wi-Fi either continually buffered or didn't work as well.
