Everything about the property was great. Nick was very responsive with any questions. Be aware, this unit is not one of the units that has access to one of the three decks facing the ocean but it was a 30 second walk down the stairs to have direct beach access. The listing is as advertise no surprises besides. Hows close it was to the beach and the road its on is a one way road with a large walk and bicycle way. Our 1st time on the strand. Won’t be back. Other than that we loved the beach. The condo was fairly comfortable. The floors were Sandy, and there was no hair dryer. We normally stay with family inland but I wanted this to be a special trip. The location is fabulous. Walking distance to the pier, grass and playground a hop, skip, and a jump away if you are taking kids. Walk out the side door, down the driveway, cross a boardwalk street (Very slow speed limit and lots of pedestrians so not dangerous, great for people watching), over some beach stones and toes in the sand. I drive a Traverse and it fit in the driveway. Anything with a long bed though, you may not fit. There is a washer/dryer combo but hang your towels and suite and shirts from the patio for quicker and a natural dry. Water pressure is fabulous, plenty of fans, pots/pans and standard dishes available. Bring your own cooking needs (spices, oil, beverages, etc). The grocery stores are convenient. Ignite coffee is the best and only a few minutes drive. I had a special situation and the host was extremely accommodating and understanding. Very responsive. Bonus, if you are there on a Thursday, there is a nice farmers market on Pier View. Condo was very nice and comfortable. Nick was always available for questions you may have. Outside, there was a foot shower to clean off the sand before going in. I only wish I would have spent more time at the beach instead of going to amusement parks that my kids wanted to do. Next time I'll spend more time there. A few things that you should know. The beach immediately in front of the condo is not very accessible, but only a about 2-3 minute walk down the beach to get to the sand. Also, the meter maid came around and told one of the other renters that our vehicles needed to be short enough to fit within the the imaginary line with the light poles. Our Honda Pilot was too big, but I could park it in the garage, so not an issue, but if your vehicle is larger, you may have a parking issue. I would definitely stay here again. ##### Steven R. We were not informed that they were remodeling the unit above. So when we arrived we were greeted by large chunks of plaster falling on our heads from two stories above. Entered the steps to the unit to be greeted by an odor which lingered into the unit itself. Reached out to the owner about the construction, “Oh sorry about that”. Day 2\. Woken up by hammering. Leaving the unit we have to scream up to the workers so they don’t rain plaster on us but still have to wade thru a walkway covered in plaster and whatever else has fallen from above where they are working. Lunchtime Friday the owner says we can leave with a refund minus the fees (which was a significant amount to loose) if we wanted to go somewhere else. But says the workers will be done Friday at close of business hours. So we decide to just stay at this point, we are unpacked, going to lose the fees, have the hassle of trying to find another place where we will have to pay more fees and we are almost done with the workers being there anyway, so we thought. Nope Saturday morning at 8 am woken up by hammering, them using the outside water spigot, and banging drywall into the front door as they go up the stairs. Reach out the owner at this point and he says “at least the beach isn’t under construction”. I felt like he should give us some sort of discount on our stay for having to deal with all this. It was so annoying and not to mention not safe having to walk under their construction zone coming and going. But anyway, as far as the condo, the only thing it has going for it is that it is right across the street from the beach. Other than that it smells, the mattresses are terrible (ours was so bowed in the middle it was ridiculous), the pillows so thick you will break your neck on them, and the decor is sadly in need of a remodel. Beware of this rental. Better ask the owner the status of the construction as they were not forthcoming about what was going on during our stay, unless your idea of relaxing is listening to constant hammering and dodging construction debris when you try to come and go. This owner did not care about making sure his guests were safe. He also straight out lied to us about them not working on Saturday. Stay somewhere else. ##### Tina B.
