The owner is truly wonderful and knows so much history in the area. If you enjoy RV-ing but are aging gracefully out of that lifestyle then you would throughly enjoy this home. If you are wanting privacy, quiet, and comfort, this is the place for you. We were only a short drive across the bridge to the beach. We had two adults and two teenage boys, as well as a dog, and had plenty of room, utilizing the couch in the living room as well at times. The apartment was spotless clean on arrival as well. It's location along the Intercoastal Waterway is beautiful and generally very quiet except for occasional boat traffic. It's a great place for bird watching and you might even see other wildlife such as deer running through the property. The apartment itself is very nicely appointed, exceptionally clean and very comfortable. Our hostess Sandra was wonderful and a great source of information about the area. Her tip to visit the Inlet View restaurant in Shallotte was one of the highlights of our trip. We would eagerly return for another visit. ##### Janet T.
