The Last Peace of the Puzzle

Last Puzzle Peace

The condo was perfect and very comfortable to stay in. We loved how spacious it is, the kitchen was well stocked, everything was clean and taken care of. We especially loved the deck. It was large enough for the whole family to sit and visit in the evenings. Seeing the water during the day and the moon at night were just a welcome bonus! We truly enjoyed our week.

Needs some work

To start, the front door was NOT locked when we arrived. The condo was not real clean, the rugs needed to be cleaned or replaced. The bathrooms could stand some updates. With toddler grandchildren there, it is important that it be very clean. We will not rent this unit again unless changes are made.

Almost Heaven

The location was perfect! Most of the house is perfect. The beds could use some upgrading to make them more comfortable. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. The keyless entry lock should be moved from the bedroom door to the main entrance door. The way the keyless entry lock it is currently located on a bedroom door that opens to the outside makes it inconvenient for those staying in that bedroom because there is constant traffic through the bedroom when the doors are locked. When all the doors are locked, the only way to get inside is through the keyless entry lock on the bedroom door. If the keyless entry lock was placed on the main door instead of the bedroom door, there would be no traffic thru the bedroom.

Great condo! Perfect location! Some improvements needed.

We have been booking our OIB summer rentals at Islander Villas with Cliff (CottageVacations4U) for the last 6 years. Cliff is a pleasure with work with – always helpful and super responsive! This year we had a wonderful stay at The Last Puzzle Piece. The location is perfect with easy access to the beach! We loved the open, spacious floorplan. We especially enjoyed time spent (day & night) on the covered porch – quality deck furniture & spectacular ocean views/sounds. We did want to provide some constructive feedback for the owner (the reasons for our 4-star rating). We are hoping this feedback is especially helpful here at the beginning of the summer rental season where these minor improvements can benefit future guests this summer: ** A deep cleaning is needed throughout the condo. Under beds was found to be very dirty, dusty including some trash and a sock. Several kitchen drawers had dirty grimy residue – especially at the back of drawers. ** Kitchen could use a reset (organization): like items were scattered in multiple locations, pots & containers had no matching lids. ** Only one pool pass (my understanding is there is supposed to be two – so a replacement may need to be obtained for future guests). ** Sectional sofa appears to have had a good life but is nearing retirement. All minor issues – none of which impacted our amazing week on OIB. Thank you, Cliff!

Great Family Vacation!

This place was perfect for our family with the variety of beds to suit our family needs. It was so convenient to the beach, just a few steps and the ability to wash off sand when we returned was an added bonus. We were able to wash off chairs, toys etc… and store underneath condo until the next day. The kitchen was well stocked. There were large stock pots so we were able to have a crab, shrimp boil for a large group. The best part was Cliff, the host. He was an excellent source for any questions, guidance and information. He was prompt with all responses. This was my first VRBO rental and he was always available and gave step by step instructions for check in and check out. He even extended our check out time, which was an extra bonus. I will definitely rent from him again.

great time

this is a great place to stay plenty of room for my family. the only reason I gave it 4 stars was because we had to bring our own linen, that was a lot of trouble for me. I am accustomed to having linen supplied at the place I am staying with beds fully maid. But other than that great place to stay. very close to the beach.

Nice rental with quick beach access convenience

Well equipped kitchen, large living room sectional, and very nice deck to enjoy the summer breeze at night. Prime location for not being "right on" the beach, access path next to condo, short walk and there.

Great Location

We loved our stay at this property. It is very well maintained and well stocked with everything we needed. The location is ideal. Getting to the beach couldn’t be easier. We also enjoyed the nearby pool which was also very nice.

The Comfort of a Vacation Home

The owner had everything you would want in your vacation home. The kitchen was well stocked and the condo felt like your very own get away. The very few steps it takes to get to the beach was great! We will stay here again.

Heaven

Our other vacation plans had to be changed due to Covid so we booked this . We had stayed at this same condo complex about 5 years ago but in a different unit. Location was totally great with an easy walk to beach and pool. The unit had everything we needed to be comfortable. Just the right size for 8 adults to be together, yet have some space. A wonderful week!

2020 Family getaway

The unit was more than we expected. Very roomy, clean, well stocked with plates, pans, glasses etc.. Easy walk to the beach. Quiet area of the island too. Very family friendly. We would definitely want to stay here again.

Family Friendly & Relaxing

I would recommend the two condos together for a larger family or multiple family units. We had family from four states come together with four generations ranging in age from 1yr to 88 yrs old. Every bedroom had its own bath and the double kitchens, washer & dryer & sitting rooms were wonderful. The condo owners were very good to work with and sent helpful information on the area. We had a great week making memories together as a family! Access to the beach is great and we could come back and forth between beach and condo very easily.

As close to the beach as you can get without oceanfront.

Wonderful properties. They are actually connected on the back porch but with two separate back doors. It's the first floor so not as many steps. Owners are very responsive and we hope to vacation here as a family for years to come. Our favorite is the porch swing and view from the reclining chairs on the opposite side of the porch. We had 6 different subsets of the same family staying in this property for a week. There are also beach chairs and beach equipment for you already in the storage unit. We did rent a grill and a bike as well as linens. Would recommend meal planning as that's the most inexpensive route to take. Also go have breakfast at Big Nells it was the best and affordable. The owner will give you a sheet with all the secrets of how to make your stay more enjoyable. As you can see I can't say enough good things about this experience. It was awesome!!!! Condo was very clean and stocked well with untensil's. Beach access was very easy and only across the street. Constant breeze came across the deck where we spent most of our time in the evenings and even had some of our meals there. Only missing item was access to a grill.
