Superior views found in each direction...sunsets and so much more! This updated mid-island home has an open floor plan, 5 bedrooms and 3.5 baths. Enjoy the cozy great room, a private, enclosed outdoor shower, covered porches, sun deck, and widow's watch. Beautiful views of the sound and the Intracoastal waterway, your own floating dock, and only 2 blocks from beach access. Large under house storage with new double doors makes this a perfect beach getaway. Relax in the quiet community of Isle Plaza, only 45 minutes from Wilmington and 30 minutes from Myrtle Beach. Enjoy boating, sailing, fishing, crabbing...Navigable water to ICW. Creek is tidal and is dry at low tide but has lots to offer mid to high tide 2 times a day. Pet friendly, up to two dogs max, up to 65 lbs each, $200 fee per dog Kitchen amenities include a toaster, drip coffee maker, crock pot, blender, waffle maker, and mixer. DOCK The dock/boat slip and canal are meant to be enjoyed responsibly. Please note there are inherent dangers associated with water including drowning. Please be safe and wear a personal flotation device around the water and monitor children and those are not strong swimmers. PLEASE READ RULES / NOTES PRIOR TO BOOKING: If your check in date is on or between Memorial Day and Labor Day, your cleaning fee does include whole house linen and towel rental fee. Linen and towel service includes top and fitted sheets per bed, pillow cases, and 1 set of towels will be provided per person (1 set includes: 1 body towel, 1 hand towel, and 1 washcloth), and a kitchen towel. If your check in date is before Memorial Day or after Labor Day, linens and towels are NOT included in the cleaning fee. We do offer them for an additional fee, or you can choose to bring your own linens and towels, or rent through a third party. \*\*(Last minute bookings: We need at least 24-hour notice in order to provide linens). We highly recommend trip insurance and will not give any refunds for weather related trip interruptions or cancellations as well as any other situations that may cause you not be able to travel or use the property. If you cancel at least 60 days prior to your check in date, you will be refunded in full minus a non-refundable fee of 5% of the total reservation (cancellation fee). Cancellations within 60 days prior to check in will not be refunded. Due to homeowner severe allergies, some homes may not allow service or support animals. You must disclose and get permission for any service and or support animals PRIOR to booking. While you paid a cleaning fee, if you leave the home excessively dirty and don't follow check out procedures, an additional cleaning charge may apply that you will be responsible for paying. Included in your reservation is a security deposit insurance policy that can cover you for accidental damages to the home or contents, however all damages may not be covered and if denied, you will be liable / responsible for paying any damages in their entirety. You must be at least 26 years old to book and if your group is not related, the average age of all adults (not including children) must be 26 years old or older. We do not allow people to book for other people, the person who makes and pays for the reservation must also stay in the home. Sorry, NO house parties, prom events, weddings, rehearsal dinners, or any other events of any kind. NO Smoking inside or on/around the premise (you will be charged a $500 fee if this rule is broken). NO charcoal grills, fire pits, or deep fryers are permitted on premise. Please be aware that there are exterior security cameras located on the premises directed towards the parking area and/or entrances for added security and peace of mind. Please note if there is a fireplace, it is decorative only and not to be used. We provide a basic starter pack of essentials for your first day including a roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, hand soap, a roll of paper towels in the kitchen, and a trash can liner per bin. The messaging from the rental agency was alot and programatic - open to us coming early or checking out late (as no one was coming) but for a fee - could get into the house but right at 4...would give you linens but all for a fee. Reminders to be out promptly at 10 and if we forgot something it could be returned for a fee...We do understand that you need to do this to insure the cleaning crews can get in and I am sure renters take advantage of the owner but it was a constant reminder that our trip was coming to an end and we could always do more for more . (just not very personable) The house worked great for our needs and we had a great Thanksgiving at the house and were appreciative of us being able to use the deep fryer away from the house. I’ve notified Brunswick Vacation properties of the things we were disappointed with. Mostly the quality of the home compared to the photos in the listing. We loved the floor plan with 2 bedrooms and a shared bath downstairs and 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms upstairs. The large dining table and island seating easily accommodated our 10 people. The home needs a good overall cleaning. The walls were dirty and the finish on the dining table needs to be redone. Several of our group felt the beds were uncomfortable and they didn’t rest well. With some investment in mattresses and some paint and cleaning this could be a great rental property. The management company did send someone to clean the areas that we found dirty the night of our arrival and we were pleased with the quick response. Overall we enjoyed our stay. We ate most meals in the house, played games at night and gathered around the tv for the NCAA games to cheer on NC State! ##### Peggy T. Overall cleanliness was good. Upper outside deck stairs and balcony are not very secure and sketchy. Shower didn't drain well but consistent with being an older property. ##### Jenny N. It was so beautiful especially at night. Unfortunately the deck is old so we were very cautious with the outside railing. Also the lowest deck was dirty/a little rotted/lots of nails sticking out and there was water leaking from what we came to find out (my husband is handy) the AC spillover tray in the attic. So we had water dripping down all levels of deck the majority of our stay. When we arrived, the deck had not been cleaned so there was food left behind from the previous renters. Would be nice to add an outdoor rug to the outdoor space and add it to the cleaning list! Another POSITIVE was that it was an easy walk to the beach and we loved how quiet it was on the west side. Note about the canal: with low tide there is no water and high tide it’s still not very deep, plus it’s barnacle and black muck so you cannot use the canal much. We did kayak which was lovely! Until I got stock in low tide which was my fault completely. The house was a good size for our group. Minimum required bedrooms for two families and max amount of space to hang for two families! We were all comfortable. All in in all this house fit our needs and we didn’t spend much time in it. We probably won’t come back unless the outdoor space was updated! ##### Chrissy M. We love the set up and location of the property. Lots of room and different decks to go to. It could have been a little cleaner but other than that, we absolutely loved it! It was nice that there was a wagon at the house to use. Kitchen could have used a cookie sheet or larger sheet pan with edges. Need sharper knives. He was quick to reply and very easy to work with! The house was so nice and very peaceful! We so enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property! ##### Thomas C. This was our first time visiting OIB and was the perfect location! Quick walk to the beach, Plenty of room for our family with amazing sunrise & sunset views from the deck. Check in was delayed due to the cleaning crew running behind and we could tell they rushed. Property manager responded quickly to our needs which was awesome. Overall great stay and nice place I would definitely recommend and visit again. ##### Shawn N. Check in was at 4 & we got to ocean isle early so we we’re dying to get in the house but the person cleaning the house didn’t finish cleaning until 4:15 & left dishes in the dishwasher for us to put away, 15 minutes doesn’t seem like much but when you have 5 kids ready to go in it seems like forever. We were a little disappointed that not all of the bedrooms had TV’s & there wasn’t much lighting in the kitchen but those were really the only negatives. The kayaks were so much fun & the AC stayed cool which is almost impossible to have at the beach. We would definitely stay here again. ##### Betsy P.
