It's the perfect marriage of relaxation and convenience, with the beach, the historic Ocean City Boardwalk, and Jolly Roger Amusement Park all within a half-mile stroll. This two-story townhouse sits on a bayside canal, right around the corner from Jolly Roger. It's an easy walk to Coastal Highway which, at 28th Street, is lined with all sorts of restaurants, eateries, bars, and shops. Back at home, there's a community pool on the grounds waiting to welcome you home each afternoon. Long summer days here begin and end outdoors. You'll have a beautiful deck overlooking the canal, giving you a lovely spot to linger with your morning coffee, an alfresco lunch, or a sunset dinner and bottle of wine. Inside, the house is inviting and comfortable, with wall-unit air conditioning keeping you cool year-round. Enjoy a well-equipped kitchen, a dining nook in the light of a bay window, and a living room where you can stream movies in the evenings. In addition to the primary bedroom, there's a loft-style bedroom on the second floor and a living room sofabed for extra sleeping space. A washer/dryer and complimentary WiFi are provided as well. Things to Know Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V, of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle. Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. This technology is privacy compliant, and only monitors the presence of decibels and devices-not any personal conversation or information. Thank you for supporting our efforts to be good neighbors! Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). First, the rental is adorable and has wonderful little touches that make it feel like home. Loved all of that. Location is quiet, plenty of street parking, convenient amenities (pool, parking, hose, trash, outside/inside deck entrance). Unfortunately, it took over 2 hours to gain entry to unit. The keys provided don’t work (really bad copies) and Vacasa is responsive on the phone, but doesn’t actually do anything about issues. After NOT getting a call back from anyone local to get new keys or give us the code to the lockbox (probably for cleaning crew), i replied to the auto text (that was prompting me to let them know if the rental was clean). I mentioned, still not being inside and they eventually gave me the lockbox code. I was told someone would come by with new keys (they never came). Called each day of my stay and told someone would be calling me in 30 min or they would swing by and figure it out/ get us new keys. It NEVER HAPPENED. My husband went to them in person (returning keys)…they said that seems like an issue and would look into it. Next ppl should have arrived 6 hours later.
