Great view of ocean, staff very friendly and accommodating. Clean rooms little outdated but clean. Needed more outlets. Disappointed that office was not open earlier to be able to get a cup of coffee. Disruptive neighboring room. Which was no smoking and you could smell smoke in our room from next door. More then just cigarettes or cigars. Also, they were very noisy late night. Neighbors were no fault of motel. Just in considerate guest that were drunk most of time and couldn't follow rules.

Owers/staff are excellent:friendly and helpful. Location is absolutely perfect. This is one of the older motels in the area but the rooms we had were recently updated and very clean. If you demand all new everything this is not your place but we were please overall and will definitely be back.

Great location, access directly to the boardwalk. The staff was friendly and helpful. Would not suggest if you enjoy quiet nights as there is a bar on the boardwalk below and you can hear the music in your room. The floors needed additional cleaning, they were dirty.

Room 120 is ‘In Da Club (downstairs)
Room 120 is loud; directly over the boardwalk restaurant/club and it smelled of cigarettes. We did not sleep; club music was going until 2AM. Request a different room. Other than that, the room was as expected for the price and the staff at checkin and checkout were friendly.

Christina was fantastic with everything. We had some noisy neighbors who kept knocking in the middle of the night, but she apologized profusely and assured us it would be taken care of. We will definitely be staying there again!

A room with a view
It’s all about location, was right there at the beginning of the boardwalk. The staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs. The rooms were very clean and spacious. I had the perfect view. Of the ocean, the boardwalk. And the sunrise.

Older hotel. Liked how easy it is to get to the board walk. Staff was the most friendly hotel staff I have delt with. The room on the other hand was not nice, had a weird odor, there was someone’s food in the fridge, just didn’t feel clean at all. There was sand all over the floor when we got there. But overall ok stay

Shower pressure was horrible and water was scolding hot. Sink was spraying water to the side. Room was hot, air conditioner was set to auto and could not be changed. Couldn't sleep cause Restaurant/club under hotel played music throughout half the night.

I used to go to OC every year growing up and this was my first time back in 18 years. Always liked staying on the boardwalk because of the conveniences. This establishment is older but was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The owner/manager was very pleasant and friendly as was the entire staff I interacted with.

It was very convenient for my kids and I to be close to the boardwalk. We were able to walk easily to the boardwalk and get things to eat and drink. We enjoyed being able to view the beautiful beach front and watch the other activities on the boardwalk right from our hotel balcony. The room is convenient for a two to three day stay. The pool was enjoyable as well. The staff members were friendly and helpful.

We stayed for a short weekend (2 night stay). Pros: convenient to boardwalk and beach; overall clean room, comfortable bed, clean pool. Cons: bathrooms were very old. Ceiling was peeling off and hanging, toilet seat was coming off, very loud music until 3 am both nights we were there. Lots of smokers sitting outside their rooms smoking so it was not possible for us as non-smokers to sit on our balcony. We were only there for 2 nights so it was acceptable but would not want to stay an entire week here. For the price we expected more.

I liked the location of the hotel but our family all had black feet from walking on the floor in our room. The staff was friendly and kind, but the floors in the rooms definitely needed a good scrubbing.
