Enjoy some of Ocean City's best sunrises and sunsets at Century I 2517, a recently updated, two-bedroom, two-bathroom, two-story penthouse on the oceanfront in North Ocean City (99th Street). Located on the top two floors of the building, this property has balconies and floor-to-ceiling windows on both sides, framing panoramic views of both the ocean and the bay. This penthouse was recently updated with a new dining room, a new balcony, new living room furniture, and flatscreen TVs in the living room and the downstairs bedroom. Both bedrooms have king-size beds, with the bed on the lower floor offering the option of separating into two twin beds. The living room has two new sleeper sofas as well. Additional amenities include a fully equipped kitchen (including a dishwasher and a microwave), a washer/dryer, and central AC. On the grounds, you'll find an indoor pool, a sauna, and a fitness room - all just steps from the ocean and sand! Guests of Century I have access to great facilities that include an indoor pool (open seasonally), an oceanfront sun deck, and a fully renovated gym with a sauna. A variety of restaurants and attractions are conveniently located within walking distance, including Liquid Assets, Trattoria Lombardi's, and the Ocean City Public Library. You'll also be a short drive or bus ride from the famous Ocean City Boardwalk on the south side of town and beautiful Northside Park up at 126th Street - the host of fun events throughout the year as well as a fishing/crabbing pier, an expansive playground, and peaceful walking paths. Things to Know A non-refundable $50 building administration fee is due immediately upon check-in. The fee covers guests' use of all amenities plus parking for 1 vehicle. A second pass is $10 a night or $70 a week. Towing is enforced with vehicles without a pass. Charges occur and parking permits are used from May 1 through October 31\. Off season, parking is not charged nor are parking permits handed out. The indoor pool at the Century1 building does not open until Memorial Day weekend and closes the first of October. The Century 1 bulding includes climbing steps to reach your vacation rental. Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated. Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 1 vehicle. This rental is located on floor 25. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. However, the information was not very clear about the expectations of check-in, the beds were hard as a rock to sleep on. We were informed there were 2 queen sofa beds but the living room was arranged that you could NOT pull out both beds at the same time. So then why would you advertise you could sleep 8?! Too many rules posted everywhere about the elevator. Not sure who jumps and does horseplay, but we got the point. Having to pay to park insane. The condo was very nice but could have been cleaned better prior to our arrival. There were crumbs on the sofas and the floors were not swept clean. Both TV's were not working. The property manager reprogrammed the living room TV but the upstairs bedroom was unable to be programmed. If you like to cook bring some pots and a good skillet as the supplies are limited. The garbage disposal was broken and the mirrored wall in the living room was cracked; Vantage was notified. Despite all the little issues I would recommend this unit to others - fair price for what you get. ##### Donalda A. Veiw was spectacular in a perfect location. Great spacious apartment however the condition of Century 1 unit was a disappointment. The mirrored wall was cracked, dining room light fixture hanging, mattress covers were torn, bedroom and bathroom shower curtain were dirty, despite having been charged a cleaning fee. Two of the three tv's were not working. Gym access and pool access was not available. With a little TLC it would be a five star stay! ##### Helene D. It was dirty to the point my feet were black and I took a picture. Also, the knobs on the dresser drawers fell off and the drawers were broken and would fall out onto the floor. A whole section of the blinds were missing so you couldn’t block the sunlight coming in, the molding trim was off with long exposed nails, the shower curtain was dirty with tears, the bed cover was torn, the comforter downstairs was filthy and we had to go and buy our own blankets. There was a broken lamp that was actually glued back together, the dining room chairs were dirty and one seat is completely off, the tv in the master didn’t work, there was an outlet missing and wires exposed...I have pictures to document everything! The building is old with no AC in the lobby or elevators so you literally sweat all the time. Penthouse is NOT what you expect. It needs serious repairs, cleaning and updating! It’s actually dangerous with young kids with long nails exposed. Thank god my child was 8 and old enough to not touch it. Very disappointing! We loved the beach, but would never stay here again! We stayed for a long weekend and such a great time, the views were amazing and the place was clean and comfortable.
