You'll have sun and surf, a sparkling community pool, and nearby Northside Park at your fingertips. Amenities include a private balcony, two flatscreen cable TVs, free WiFi to keep you connected, AC, and a fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar and all of the essential appliances, from a full-size refrigerator with an ice maker to an extra-quiet dishwasher. A private, stacked washer/dryer and beach chairs are provided as well. On the grounds of Ocean Rise, you'll have access to an outdoor pool and sundeck, an outdoor shower, an elevator, a bike rack, and assigned parking. This is the perfect spot for experiencing Maryland's most famous resort town. You'll be close enough to the beach for bathroom and lunch breaks, and just a few blocks from Northside Park, where you can enjoy fireworks displays, kayak and paddleboard rentals, crabbing and fishing off the pier, a children's playground, a bike path, and special events such as Sundaes in the Park (with live entertainment for adults and children to make your own sundaes every Sunday night in July and August). Very close proximity to the beach of course and within walking distance to restaurants and a grocery store. The pool is gated, clean and above average compared to other places we've stayed that have pools. The unit itself is decent. My only complaint was cleanliness. There were clumps of hair in the corners of both bathrooms, very obvious dirt/sand/food crumbs along the baseboards, dirty dishes in the dishwasher, we found kids toys left behind by the previous guests, kitchen and hallway floors were sticky. The only obvious cleaning that had been done was living room carpet vacuuming. The A/C problem referred to in previous reviews has been dealt with. It works fine and cools the place sufficiently. The living room A/C is quiet but the bedroom A/C is very loud. Overall, it could be worse. We'd stay here again but if you're a clean freak, I'd look elsewhere.
