It's looks as though nothing has been done to it since it was put there probably 40 or 50 years ago. Everthing except the dock and deck is completely trashed. The carpet in the first bedroom is littered with stains which make it hard to want to walk around in bare feet. There is more or less a covered up hole in the floor outside the main bathroom which will eventually have someone step through. The bathtub in the main bedroom is stained beyond anyone wanting to use it in my opinion. AC worked ok but the back bedroom was always 10 degrees warmer than the rest of the house. Kitchen facilities were a hodgepodge of pans, glasses and dishes. Not a big deal but the frying pain which look as if they are non stick do not work. There are an assortment of clothes in the closet of the main bedroom scattered through out which are probably things that have been left behind over the years. All in all it served our purpose as a couple of lacrosse players down for the tournament without our wives. If they would have come we would have immediately had to leave because of the condition of the home. ##### richard a. There’s a variety of food spots close by, and the boardwalk parking is about a 25 minute drive. When it comes to the house itself, it is dated, but still comes with great features. I think the best one is the deck & dock area right out the sliding glass door. But, other great things about this house include a furnished kitchen, 3 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms. I have never stayed in a VRBO that was in such a dilapidated state. I have never given a bad review for any VRBO I’ve rented. Please see the details & pictures. EXTREMELY dirty, every single room, dirt, dust, cobwebs, stains etc… All kitchen appliances are dirty with food residue. We did not cook on or in anything nor used any dishes/utensils. We did use coffee cups but washed them first as well as the coffee maker. Bathroom in the master bedroom was dirty, stains, mold, rust, more water comes out of the shower knob then the shower head.Bathroom 2 filthy, peeling paint, the shower head wanted to come off the wall. Listed as linens provide….. beds were not made and the linen closet is filled with mix and match sheets that smell like musk and mold. We had to go out a purchase towels. The pillows on the beds were all stained. Bedroom 1 dirty, stained carpetsTwin bedrooms, dirty, most lamps no lightbulbs, head boards not attached, Master bedroom, dirty, old undergarments in drawers, lots of dead bugs. Hallway floor has missing wood, covered up by a rug and it’s sunken in causing a trip hazard.Outdoor deck furniture in bad shape.The trash can is actually a laundry hamper so trash bags don’t fit. There is NO WAY the owners have a cleaning service. We spoke with the neighbors who told us they have seen renters come here and leave right away because of the poor conditions. We also had an issue with the AC and she got it fixed as soon as I notified her. Place was not filthy as others have said. There is no maid service so you are at the mercy of how the previous guests leave it (Im sure some people dont care). For the price you can not beat it. Definitely would return. ##### Danielle O. The neighborhood is excellent; comes with 2 pools, tennis courts, fishing areas and mini golf. The location on the bay is unmatched. From the deck or the dock right outside your door, you can see various wildlife and watch the boats go by, sometimes even see a dolphin! The house has everything you need. The host is always responsive to our messages when needed. We will continue to return to this spot! ##### Beverly N. Thank goodness we did!!!!!!!!!!!!! I used 6 candles everytime we were in the unit, 1 plug in and and 5 free standing gel air freshners! Still couldn't rid the strong mold and mildew smell. I believe it is no longer available to rent.......I can see why. Sad really, such an amazing view!! I'd love to buy it and rip it down! ##### Donna G. There was supposed to be two keys; however, there was 1\. The first thing I looked at was the view, which was incredible. Then we started to bring our things in and saw ants all over the place. I first texted Ellie and did not get a response. I then called both numbers that she had listed and did not get an answer. I called her five times, telling her there was a problem and the place was loaded with ants. There was also extreme dirt on windows, possible mold, and applicances were dirty. I could have handled cleaning that before use, but I wont stay in a place that has bugs. Needless to say, we left! She finally returned my call when I was checking in at another place. She told me there was a bomb for that in the utility closet. I told her I was not going to rent a place that I would have to set off a bomb to stay there! I told her I contacted VRBO and my charge number and I will not pay for her rental! It was defininitely unfit for someone to stay in! Then she sent me a text and told me she would have called an exterminator and they would have come out, but I chose to leave. I told her I would not stay in a place like that Who would have cleaned up the dead bugs, ants? Not me! I told her I use to have two rentals in OCMD and I would never ever have rented my place unless it was clean for people to use. I would NOT RECOMMEND anyone staying her unless she does a lot of fixing up her place. Again the view was about the only thing I liked ##### Patricia R. The toilet flushed yet backup into tub.. Left on Sunday our reservation was till Monday. Air-conditioned was not in full capacity. Afternoon inside was 86..unexceptable. The location is amazing. Views from the deck are not to be missed. This place a ton a charm. Is this place the most up to date, fancy house? No, it certainly is not. BUT what it lacks in updates/fanciness it has character. For us, this type of beach house is just perfect. It is truly the definition of a beach house. A little dated, a bit quirky and 100% chill and relaxation. This house is like a time capsule. Imagine staying the weekend at your grandmas and she just has everything exactly as she has always had it. That is this house. We loved it so much, we have already booked another visit! So I know that there are some bad reviews of this place, however, what we encountered was just perfect for us. Everything worked as it should. Plenty of hot water when needed and cold air conditioning on some really hot days. All things considered, this is really a diamond in the rough. ##### Beverly N. I stay in ocean city twice a year and I’ve never been so disappointed. I’m not one to complain but this house was disgusting. As soon as we opened the doors the mold smell just hit us in the face. It was so bad we could not stomach eating in the house we ate out the entire time we were there. I looked for houses so we could leave but being hot rod weekend everything was booked unfortunately. Both bathrooms were dirty, stove was dirty, fridge and freezer were dirty with hair in it. The beds were so uncomfortable both my kids slept in the floor. There was a fogger sitting on the kitchen sink and there were ants all over the house. The outside was beautiful and the neighbors were friendly. They asked how we liked the house I told them it was the worse house we had ever stayed at. They said everyone complains about it being disgusting, I told them we payed $1300 for the four nights and they told us we needed to ask for half our money back. As soon as we got into the house I let the owner know it was disgusting all she could say was she was sorry I wasn’t happy. I sent her 10 photos of everything that was dirty. I then emailed her to let her know I spoke with neighbors and they told me to ask for half my money back and all she had to say was she hoped I found something better next time. We left this morning with my 4 year old son throwing up after being in the house for four nights. I don’t recommend anyone staying at this house. Also, Everything is outdated in the house the washer didn’t work , the hot water ran out after about 10 mins. I’m reporting the house to the county so hopefully no one else gets robbed of there money. ##### Andy R.
