Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Oct 27, 2023 #### It did the job. The unit was a great location, close to the boardwalk. When we walked in we immediately noticed an overwhelming musty smell. The couch in the dining room was filthy. There were also no trash cans in the bathrooms. Our biggest complaint was there was nobody in the property office to provide a parking pass so we had to drive out of our way to a secondary location to pick one out which was very inconvenient. ##### Jocelyn P. Location was convenient. Cons: the noise from units above was unbearable the first night and worst the second night. The noise went on until 1am. We called vacasa management and reported twice, talked to the unit above and it still continued. Management suggested to call the authorities. They came and the noise finally stopped. We barely got sleep. Beyond the thin ceilings, they could use a new coffeemaker (a real one with 12 cups), wine opener, trash cans in each bathroom, new towels (stains on some), and new comfortable beds (felt like the cheapest mattresses).
