See the Ocean from your Bed! This 9th floor unit in the Carousel has the sought after deluxe oceanfront master bedroom floor plan! Enjoy breathtaking ocean views from your master bedroom, living room, and kitchen/dining area, and enjoy your over sized 30 foot direct oceanfront balcony off of the master bedroom and living room! There is also a 30 foot patio on the bay side. Enjoy beautiful sunrises over the ocean and stunning sunsets over the bay! Since purchasing this unit in 2019 we've made multiple updates, including; new luxury vinyl flooring as well as a new sleeper sofa! All of the beds are also new! Carousel is a resort condominium with amenities unparalleled in Ocean City, including: outdoor and indoor heated pool, hot tub, exercise room, sauna, arcade room, ping pong tables, pickleball courts, onsite restaurant/lounge, onsite cafe, gift shop, and even an indoor ice skating rink! Free high-speed, wireless Internet access provided. Basic cable with HBO is included. Linens and bath towels are provided at an additional cost of $20 per bed. If you opt for linen service, you will receive an additional payment request after booking. There is parking for two cars available. There is a large parking lot in front of the building as well as a four-level garage next door. There is a $50.00 cash building registration fee for parking and key cards. This fee is due at check in. Weekly rentals only during July and August. Two night minimum during off season. PLEASE NOTE: We do not rent this unit to high school or college age groups under the age of 25. The pool and hot tub really need work. They weren't at temperature (heated pool was cold, hot tub was lukewarm), and there were brown stains- looked like both pool and hot tub needed a good scrubbing and repair. We were very disappointed and weren't comfortable usuing them. The unit itself needed a deep cleaning. Both the tub and shower were in need of a good scrubbing, black mold at base of shower door, fingerprints on all the mirrors and sliding glass doors. Lots of dust on the mechanical room door. The bathrooms and kitchen were not cleaned. There was thick dust everywhere. There was an unidentified smell coming from one of the beds. See pics- I could go on and on. Unfortunately I can only include 8 photos but I have more. I contacted the property manager Pam immediately and she was responsive, until I requested a partial refund. Pam refunded me the 110 cleaning fee which is great because the unit was not cleaned, however I had to spend the majority of the first full day there texting her and waiting for the cleaners to come back. She did have the cleaners come back and the unit was cleaner, however we were still extremely uncomfortable staying there. We ended up leaving after 2 nights and finding a new and clean place to stay for the remainder of the trip. Pam will no longer communicate with me so I’m working with VRBO. Property amenities were well rounded. Indoor pool was extremely loud due to old fans running constantly. Didn't open till 10 am, which was annoying but manageable. Place was overall decent, but quite dated.The curtains in the main bedroom were unacceptable and allowed excessive amounts of light in. It was impossible to sleep past dawn, especially with a small child. I imagine the owner puts the hurricane protection down to block the light for themselves. No chance for us. There were tons of beach items, but the closet was totally disorganized. I'd consider going back, but will likely find another spot in the future. ##### Jen H. Easy to get from condo to downstairs and all the activities w/stroller. VERY family friendly. The condo itself has a huge balcony to keep all the things and a beautiful view of the beach. The kitchen has everything you would need for cooking,storage,etc. Although nothing is brand new, it is clean/comfortable so very suitable for toddlers/young children. However, the oceanfront balcony was VERY noisy. The condo is located several floors above the atrium roof, which is between the condo and the ocean. There are six or more large air conditioner units located on the roof that service the atrium. One in particular was extremely noisy, so much so that it drowned out the sound of the waves! One of the reasons we like to stay oceanfront is to listen to the waves so the obnoxious noise ruined that experience for us. Consequently we didn't spend much time on the balcony like we normally do. Soon after we arrived I reported the noise to the person in the real estate office. Nothing was done about it until our last day. Judging by all the ice the technician pulled out of the A/C unit, I think he serviced it because it iced up and stopped working and not because I had complained about it six days prior. We were very disappointed and would not stay here again. ##### Richard Z. Everything went very smoothly from booking to check in-couldn't ask for better service & the best feature of the condo was the views of ocean sunrise on back balcony & bay view sunset on front side of our own private balconies that were huge! There were enough amenities at the location that we didn’t have to leave the resort. The staff were friendly and easy to talk to. The condo had amazing views of the ocean and the bay.
