The Century I units, located in Ocean City, Maryland, are unique split-level vacation townhouses, most offering a spectacular view of both the Atlantic Ocean and Assawoman Bay. Central air conditioning, all appliances, bayside and oceanfront balconies. High speed lobby elevators and separate beach elevator. Most units offer free HBO and Showtime. Two bedroom, two bath vacation rental units available. Non-refundable building registration fee required.

Things to Know
Please note: During the off-season, After Labor Day and before Memorial Day the building will be doing balcony reconstruction work. Construction will take place on weekdays, and guests may experience some intermittent noise during this time.
A non-refundable $50 building administration fee is due immediately upon check-in. The fee covers guests' use of all amenities plus parking for 1 vehicle. A second pass is $10 a night or $70 a week. Towing is enforced with vehicles without a pass. Charges occur and parking permits are used from May 1 through October 31. Off season, parking is not charged nor are parking permits handed out.
The indoor pool at the Century1 building does not open until Memorial Day weekend and closes the first of October.
The Century 1 bulding includes climbing steps to reach your vacation rental.
Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 1 vehicle.
This rental is located on floor 7.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Great place right on the ocean

We just had a great week in this very comfy house. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to make meals. We had two ocean front balconies. The master bed was oh so comfortable. We would definitely stay again. Loved the place!!

Ocean front condo

We loved the ocean front view. The kitchen is well stocked. The place is 2 levels which gets awhile to get used to. The beds could use new pillows, although the beds themselves were comfortable. The living room sofa and chairs are very worn. The place could use a refresh. The complex is very nice, nice outside shower, storage lockers on the first floor was a bonus.

The view from the condo was wonderful however the interior photos were deceiving. The condo was very dated and needed some upkeep.

We loved the 2 level layout separating the master from the rest of the place. Balcony view of ocean, WiFi and building amenities all perfect. Beds are soft but good and chairs/sofa are comfortable. Bathrooms are very dated and poorly redone. Too many items in the place are 30+ years old and need replacing like the carpets and the blinds

Great views but needs updating big time

The views were great but there is not a comfortable seat in the house or on the deck. My back hurt every time I struggled to get up from wherever I was sitting. The were stains on the furniture and bedding too.

Few minor kinks but overall, loved it

We were skeptical about the stay because we hadn’t heard of the rental company before. We arrived and loved it. We received fresh linen and extra linen. A few lightbulbs needed replaced. Some furniture could use updating but it was a cozy stay. Everything worked how it should have. The rental office had very friendly staff who were patient and with me and my family. My kids and grandkids and wife would stay there again, maybe not on a high floor again though.

Wonderful view

The place itself was nice, the area great, the views fabulous. Decorated tastefully. What was not great was that it was not clean. Bathrooms, rugs, inside kitchen cabinets. Not fault of owner. Cleaning company fail. I let them know, have the pictures and texts they said they would send someone and never did.

Fantastic Views

The view from this place is worth a million bucks. The location was fine too. It was our first time to OCM and the first 5 days of our trip were during Ian’s remnants and a nor’easter so we really relied on that view to keep us sane lol. The place is fine overall. Sure it’s a little dated and not the prettiest place we’ve stayed but I mean for the price it’s probably fair. It wasn’t super clean in the kitchen, like there were a lot of sticky and dusty things which kind of gives you an icky feeling but it’s probably the age of the liners and things and of course a lot of humidity. The master bed was comfortable, the water pressure is great for showers and the cleanliness in general was fine so all in all I’d say it’s all worth it for the view, especially in the off season!

Not what we expected

For starters, this unit is 2 floors and we expected that the entry would be on the same floor as the kitchen. That was not the case, however. We had to take the majority of our belongings down the stairs then back up when we left. Just seemed like an odd layout. The beds were not very comfortable and some of the building (and this unit) could use some upgrades. I use a CPAP and had to unplug the lamp in order to use it and the cord was covered in some kind of sticky substance. It was disgusting. WIFI was difficult to connect to but eventually worked and no further problems. Probably will not stay here again.

My home away from home

I love having 3 balconies, that gives a different view and perspective. It’s clean, well stocked. Amazing access to the beach and stores. Century 1 is great for families. Everyone is very respectful of each other.
