It features a well-equipped kitchen with all the essentials, central air-conditioning, a private balcony overlooking the water, on-site washer/dryer for your laundry needs, comfortable and inviting furniture, and TV with cable. Things to Know The building provides complimentary WiFi as a courtesy, but it is not guaranteed. The indoor pool and large outdoor pool will not accommodate children in diapers. There is an outdoor kiddie pool provided for children in diapers. Per building management, cannabis is prohibited everywhere on the Golden Sands grounds. Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. There were 3 broken plastic chairs on the balcony. We contacted the realty company and they replaced them with 4 plastic chairs. Bad: Maintenance man let himself into the unit with no badge or official attire after 9:00 PM claiming an emergency to check for a leak in the master bathroom. Hot water lasts for maybe 5 to 10 minutes. Carpet is covered in stains throughout unit and holds a musty smell. Dust stains on ceiling by ventilation register. Bathrooms heavily corroded, missing bars, cracked tiles, pieces missing off of the toilet seats. Slider VERY difficult to open and close. Beds and furniture are very old and uncomfortable. Furniture very worn down. No USB outlets anywhere. Pictures in listing are not accurate of the condition. For the price I paid, I expected better. Invest a little. ##### Kelly W. The best part of this condo is the amazing view from the 19th floor- ocean view from one side, bay view from the other. We enjoyed the Golden Sands amenities such as the private beach area, pool, tiki bar, and cornhole. The only issue we had was running out of hot water very quickly- 3 out of 4 of us had cold showers. ##### Jeanette B. Third, view great. Poor communication with Vacasa - never responded to emails except for some boilerplate junk. Kitchen was remodeled and very nice. Furniture a little shabby (to be expected at the beach). The owner needs to rip out the bathtubs - who takes baths anymore - and convert into shower stalls. Water flow poor and hot water ran out fast - assume the place had a small HW heater. Still, it is a good place to stay except it needs some up dating. ##### Ray M.
