You will be welcomed by large, brightly colored town homes with large front porches and brick sidewalks that are reminiscent of a Charleston, SC neighborhood. Lighted quiet streets lend themselves to romantic early evening strolls as you take in the neighborhood, the views of the water that surrounds the island on 3 sides and of course those fabulous Ocean City sunsets. During the day, kids can be seen riding bikes on those same streets and enjoying the open play area throughout the community. This year-round community features a clubhouse with an indoor and outdoor pool, a state-of-the-art fitness center, private beaches, a community boat ramp, boat slips, a fishing/crabbing pier, shoreline walking paths and even interactive water fountains for the kids. If that wasn't enough, there is also a general store, a cafe and a restaurant located right on the shores of the bay! Located just 1.5 blocks from the beach, this Sunset Island is ready to make this your best Ocean City vacation ever! If you are going to stay in this fabulous community, then you should be staying at an equally as impressive home. This beautiful 5 BR 4.5 BA unit will accommodate 12 people and is exactly what you want! This home features 4 nicely appointed levels. On the first level you will find a bedroom with its own private bath and the laundry area. As you move up to the main level, there is the living room, 2 dining areas, a sitting area and a fully equipped gourmet kitchen that is ready for all of your culinary creations! The 3rd level hosts the master bedroom with private bath and 2 additional bedrooms with a shared bath. The 4th level has a private suite with its own bathroom and a private balcony that gives you a view of the bay! Come stay at this incredible resort and create your own Ocean City memories! THINGS TO KNOW: \* The community resort fee includes parking for 3 cars and 6 pool passes. The price is as follows 1/1 to 4/30 = $100, 5/1 to 5/23 = $150, 5/24 to 9/12 = $200, 9/13 - 9/30 = $150 and 10/1 to 12/31 = $100\. Additional pool and parking passes may be purchased at $75 each. These fees will be due at the time of check-in at Sunset Island. Contacted the rental company and after couple of call and text messages, they realized that they forgot to clean the property! The rooms were big and it was great to have bathrooms for all are adult children. We loved the deck and used it each day. The FR/LR/Kitchen area was great. We were VERY disappointed at the unavailability of the community pool. One of the biggest reasons we chose this location was access to pool for our grandchildren. We were diligent about trying to get signed up, but each and every time we were blocked out. We contacted the property managers looking for some assistance but were basically not heard. COVID was not the problem...the problem was we were not given sufficient info or time to "beat the rush" and it was apparent that other groups knew the system better than we did. Since we were not going out for dinners (due to our large group, small grandchildren and COVID, we had counted on being able to break up the day for the kids by using the pool. As always, the OC beaches were beautiful. All of this said, we still rate the experience good and hope that next year we can be given better access to the community pool. ##### Colette G. Kitchen is well supplied with utensils/dishes,cookware so no need to bring any extra supplies. Also has a large supply of beach equipment(chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, boogie boards).
