We thoroughly enjoyed proximity to the fantastic restaurants and shops of Temescal. Convenient jumping off pony to Easter Bay, SF, Napa, etc. Host was super responsive. We were two senior couples visiting the Oakland area and found this spacious place to spread out games and puzzles inside. Outside, the neighborhood offers delicious food, shopping and people watching. This area is doing something right with its mix of friendly and diverse shop owners and locals. We had a great time! The location is wonderful, in a fun, active neighborhood. There are many restaurants and a lot of activity on Telegraph Avenue. (We enjoyed some really excellent food from Burma Superstar and Pizzaiola.) The unit itself is very nice, having a refurbished, modern kitchen and baths. When the rains came during our stay, the unit proved a nice place to hang out with family, play games and watch football! The only challenge we experienced was that the oldest member of our group of four adults struggled a bit with the stairs to the unit.
