There is no air conditioning and so, the windows must be opened for air circulation. There are screaming children, barking dogs and loud adults who drink some evenings in the neighborhood. Otherwise, the cost was a savings compared to staying in a better hotel. There is no off street parking and no laundry facilities. The walk to Lake Merritt is half a mile. The bus routes to downtown are about a block away. The Lake Merritt Bart Station is a little more than a mile, about a 23 minute walk. ##### Michelle L.
