Hot tub, fire pit, lakefront, dock, pet friendly and more! Lake Haven just listed with Red Barn Vacations. The home was previously five star-rated. I'm sure we'll have a flood of five-star reviews on the website soon, but until then, we have no problem reassuring you: you're gonna love this home! Lake Haven is the perfect home for your lake getaway! With 100ft of amazing, level lake front that is exclusively yours to enjoy; you can hop into your boat from the private dock in seconds to explore the lake, or sit inside and take in the expansive lake views from any room. While the boat photographed in the gallery is not available for renter use, the home does comes with a canoe and a kayak for your use! (The boat will be moored in the dock slip, but renters do have use of the dock and may dock a boat to the side of the dock) Located in a quiet cove that is a fishing enthusiast's delight, you can take in the sunrise views and get some fishing done, or take a leisurely swim around the cove anytime you please. It has two tables for outdoor dining, and a grassy lawn that has plenty of room for the kids to run and play. At the end of the day, you can wind down around the glow of the fire pit by the lakeshore or relax in the hot-tub with a view of the lake and the starry mountain skies above you. The interior is bright and airy, and decorated in a charming cottage style that is immediately inviting. The single-level floor plan is ideal for sharing quality time with your favorite people. Gather together in the great room to enjoy lake views from the comfort of the sectional sofa or cook up a storm in the adjacent, eat-in kitchen that features a farmhouse sink, ample counter space and all the essentials for making delicious meals. You can also cook on the grill outdoors, and eat at the picnic table as you watch boats cruising by. Adding to your living space is a family room where you can watch TV on the wall-mounted flat screen TV while the kids play foosball. A pass through window to the kitchen makes it easy to serve drinks and snacks for a relaxed evening at home. All bedrooms have views of the lake, and attention to detail guarantees a good night's sleep in each of the rooms. The spacious primary suite with a queen bed has its own entrance so that guests can come and go as they please. Grab a book off the shelf and settle in to one of the rocking chairs to lose yourself in a story. A second bedroom with two bunk beds is the perfect spot for the kids, and they will love having their own space! It's like you're in the middle of nowhere, but have stores, restaurants and activities all within a short drive. The only thing is that I recommend taking screen shots of all the details about the property (door code, wifi password, etc.) before you get there because there is no signal. Plus at one point I changed my mind about going to one place before the other and trying to change that on my GPS was a nightmare because nothing was coming up. No addresses, no maps, nothing. I ended up driving back to the house for the wifi just so I could look up the directions. None of that is the hosts fault obviously, I'm just making a suggestion for future guests. The quaintness and pictures of the decor is why I picked it despite being able to get a larger rental for less money. It was for the most part pretty clean. The layout was a little awkward. The front door entrance is in the master bedroom with the door being right next to the bed. The bathrooms were nicely decorated but had very little room to navigate in. The guest bathroom we did not use because the tub faucet handle was very loose and we didn’t want to damage it. My kids were super excited to use the hot tub in the snow but once they got in, they quickly got out. It smelled gross, had an orange scummy ring in it, and when the jets were turned in yellow/orange bubble came out. We were supposed to check out Monday morning but on there were blizzard warning in place. I received a text from the property management company stating that if we would like to stay an extra night it would be 50% off. I thought that was great but we couldn’t stay an extra night due the my kids having school on Tuesday. We decided to check out on a Sunday and I messaged the management company asking if they would be willing to credit us a little bit of money back since we were checking out early but they said “no”. Again it’s a super cute property and I’m sure beautiful during the spring and summer but for the price we likely wouldn’t choose this property again. ##### Mayling B. House was well-appointed, new additions to home were very nice. Beds were comfortable & house was very clean. Great communication with rental agency. However, although house comes with margarita-maker, there is no ice-maker or ice trays to make ice. Original bathrooms are very small & master shower was very difficult to use because of it’s tiny size- not a deal-breaker for us. Home also needs emergency supplies like flashlight. The few battery-operated candles had dead batteries. We paid a lot more to rent a house on the lake, and were surprised to see more charges added for linens and hot tub cleaning. Aug 2, 2023 #### lake haven house explained before I booked this house my wife has a balance problem she is in a wheelchair most of the time, the bedroom had a dropped floor couldn't get her and wheel up over 4in. threshold very difficult to get her into the living room then had to fight to get the wheelchair into the kitchen it was a sunk drop into the kitchen requested one story level home on the lake other than that we enjoyed the view once I could get her into the front of the house. Jul 19, 2023 #### Lake Fun The house was cozy. We had 6 people. Two adults and 4 teens. The bathrooms were very small and there was a mildew smell that we couldn't get rid of. The house itself was in a GREAT location with the lake right in front of the house. The house was decorated in a really cute cottage theme. The house was equipped with all the necessities you need. They even provided a few snacks and a surprise which was really nice! We did not get to use the canoe or kayak as they were up on the hill behind a barn. It would have been nice if the canoe and kayak were down near the lake for easy access. We loved the hot tub! The firepit and lights added to the FUN at the lake. It would have been nice if the grass was cut. We did have GREAT time at the house as it was a great location and the beds were comfy. It would be nice if there were ceiling fans as it did get hot. Jul 4, 2023 #### curtis we told the girl that did the booking my wife was in a wheelchair-\\we expressed no stairs or step-downs. sister-in-law was also sick with debilitating sickness. there was a large step to get out of the bedroom as well as a larger step into the living room and kitchen, could not use the bathrooms because of the wheelchair, and my wife fell in the living room trying to go into the family room with a bruised hip and arm badly .very very difficult to use bathrooms, she had knee surgery replacement last month, results in extreme from falling. Had to help lift her and squeeze her into bathroom.the worst vacation and the most expensive we have ever encountered. Tried to do something nice for my wife & sister law this is what I got!!!!! Will never use your website or agency again.
