Here you are steps away from the beach and the surf as the ocean is literally your backyard. Enjoy either the open or covered screened in deck and listen to the waves and the birds or walk down the steps to the convenient beach access to dip your toes in the water. This 3 bedroom home sleeps 5 and comes equipped with a King in the primary room and an attached bathroom with walk in shower, a Queen in the 1st Guest room and a twin in the 2nd guest room both with easy access to a guest bathroom with walk in shower. The Primary bedroom has a Smart TV and the 1st guest room has a Roku TV/DVR. The fully equipped kitchen has a refrigerator with freezer, electric oven/range, Microwave, Dishwasher, Blender, Toaster, Keurig coffee maker, ample dishware, glasses and mugs, cooking and eating utensils, pots and pans, Whirley popcorn popper, basic cooking spices and other food prep items. There is a Smart TV in the Living Room with plenty of comfortable seating for the whole family. There is a Washer and Dryer conveniently located in the 3rd bedroom. You will find a Propane grill outside to cook your catch of the day and there is an outdoor shower to rinse off when coming back from the beach. This classic beach home is the perfect place for your family getaway and experience the beach life like never before! Sleeping Accommodations: Primary Bedroom - King Bed Guest Bedroom 1 - Queen Bed Guest Bedroom 2 - Twin Bed Please note: Linens are included with your reservation and your beds will be made prior to your arrival. Also a Welcome Bag will be waiting for you upon your arrival with starter supplies which includes 2 trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher powder, washing machine powder, dish sponge, small shampoo and conditioner with bar of soap, make up remover, and 2 bottles of water. This home has on site beach front parking but be advised that for other parking locations on the Oak Island, there is now paid parking on the island. The paid parking will be in effect from April 1 through September 30th and the hours are from 9:00am to 5:00pm. It was Wonderful. The hosts and the place are AWESOME. Over the past 17 years we would go with a rental company there (will not mention any names) but when we decided to go with VRBO and Oki Doki, we wished many times that we had done this earlier in our stays at Oak Island. Normally we stay at Oak Island in July for our wedding anniversary. This year OkI Doki was already booked so we came in September. outside of this being hurricane peak season we loved the stay. The beaches reminded us of when we first started coming, not crowded. This year we had 3 beautiful days and the rest was overcast and raining. Oki Doki had everything we needed. We woud stay on the screen enclosed porch and enjoy every day. In our opinion, we feel like Oki Doki is the best place to stay and hope to do so for another 17 years. It’s one of the only oceanfront homes that we saw with a beautiful screened in porch from where you could sit and enjoy the beach without actually being on the sand (which was only steps away). There were so many things supplied at the house, so many little things, like a first aid kit. And you might think all the hooks are a little unique but as you get settled you will appreciate and use them, a lot! The owners were so kind and went the extra mile to make our stay great. Perfect for family of four. Quiet beach, loved the ocean sounds as we dozed off each night. Lots of sweet touches to welcome us - OkiDoki koozies, cards and plenty of snacks. There were also lots of essentials that many beach rentals do not provide (e.g. laundry and kitchen cleaning supplies, beach chairs, beach towels and much more). ##### Angela H. There were a few updates that aren't in the online photos. Most notably, some really great tables/chair sets not shown in the covered back porch! Only thing I would change is a keypad for the front and back doors instead of our family all utilizing 1 key, but that's minor. The house included boogie boards, Bluetooth speakers, cookware, and lots of other little things that we didn’t have to pack up and bring. There were bath and beach towels and tons of towel hooks near the doors, the bedrooms, and bathrooms. Screened in porch and outside porch, foot wash, garden hose, and a private beach access made the beach time a breeze. Will definitely be back! All hosts should be this considerate! ##### Naaman D.
