The host was quick to respond to my questions. Their is a weird transition in the center floor where the living room and kitchen meet the center. It's a trip hazard for sure, but once we got used to it, it was not a big deal. I would not recommend this property for the elderly because of that. The house is cute, but the neighborhood is questionable. But you are 15 minutes away from everything you need (grocery store, restaurants, & the New River Gorge & Gauley. Our family spent spring break visiting New River Gorge National Park and chose this place based on the reviews since many of those people were also visiting the park. The location was perfect- quick drive to Fayetteville, The Bridge and the park/playground for the community. We used Ace Adventures for our "excursions" and the proximity was super easy for us to get to. The house itself is absolutely perfect- the beds are very comfortable, the main living areas are comfortable and laid out well also. The porch swing was perfection for the morning coffee and for after a long day of hiking it was great to relax with a cold drink. From the moment we arrived, the property exceeded our expectations. It was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated, with a cozy yet spacious feel that made us feel right at home. The kitchen was fully equipped, allowing us to prepare family meals with ease. We especially loved the large dining area, which was perfect for our game nights and shared dinners. The living room provided ample space for everyone to relax, and the large windows let in plenty of natural light, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Communication with the host was seamless. They provided clear instructions and were quick to respond to any questions we had, making our check-in process a breeze. Overall, this house was the perfect retreat for our family. We can’t wait to return and create more wonderful memories here.
