"This was a great adventure. It might not be for everyone but it sure was for us. There is a bit of a hike to the yurt, which made for a peaceful and secluded stay. Andrea and Clay greeted us and showed us around the place which was beautiful. There is a river right out the door that we swam in, and the yurt was so cozy inside."

"Great little unit that was spacious and easy to find. Close to Baddeck with easy access to the rest of the island. Little playground for the kids was a nice touch, especially when the parents were trying to pack up. We did notice that the fridge didn't seem to be cleaned from the last guest. "My husband and I had a wonderful couple of nights at Chanterelle. We stayed in a room in the main building. We loved the peacefulness of the place. It was such a relaxing place to stay. Breakfast was delicious! We booked dinner for the one evening. We were so glad we did. It was an 8 course meal. Every dish was excellent! Would recommend if you’re looking for peace and relaxation and excellent food!"

"this is the second year we returned to stay at the telegraph. It's a wonderful place right in the middle of downtown Baddeck. The Cable Room cuisine is unbelievable. Service including wait staff, cleaning staff and front desk superb. One could not do better for a holiday in Cape Breton. "
