It is set amongst 1.6 hectares of terraced land with olives, almonds and citrus and stunning views to Noto and the Iblei mountains beyond. The accommodation is terraced, with the bed/living room forming the upper level; it has plenty of storage, sofa, TV, Wi-Fi and air conditioning and leads onto a large upper terrace with a sun shelter, barbecue area, seating and wonderful views of Noto and the Iblei mountains. The bathroom and kitchen form the lower level with the bathroom being equipped with a power shower. The kitchen has a gas hob, electric oven, fridge freezer and dishwasher and leads to a sheltered outside dining area. At the rear is a small paved area with a plunge pool shaded by an olive tree which is ideal for an evening glass of prosecco to watch the sun set when it is operational from the beginning of June to the end of August. The views, the olive and almond trees, the stunning garden, the multiple terraces(!), great air conditioning inside, and a comfy bed. And the cats! We really enjoyed having some furry friends around to pamper and talk to. One of the cats had kittens while we were there, which was pretty exciting. This property is nestled in a grove of olive and almond trees. We bought a nutcracker to see if we could eat some almonds (yes, although a bit past their prime). The owners have created a spectacular desert garden and we enjoyed identifying plants that we hadn't seen in Canada. We had a rental car (which is a must) and explored the surrounding areas - we highly recommend Noto (baroque architecture), which you can see from the property. The kitchen at the house is definitely made for cooks - there wasn't a single thing missing from the cupboards and drawers. We cooked some great meals and ate them on the upper terrace, while enjoying the scenery and sunset. The stars at night were impressive. The hosts were very responsive and helpful and we enjoyed chatting with them. HIGHLY recommend this peaceful and restorative location. The kiddie pool was perfect plunging, and also has a great view. Het huis was comfortabel en voorzien van alles wat we nodig hadden. De keuken nodigde uit tot het maken van lekkere maaltijden, alles wat je nodig hebt was aanwezig. De wifi was meer dan goed. We hebben heerlijk op de verschillende terrassen gezeten en genoten van de rust en het uitzicht. Het huis is een gunstige uitvalsbasis voor vele mooie plekken op Sicilie. Tijdens onze dagen in Noto hebben we Syracuse en Ragusa bezocht, en natuurlijk Syracuse. Ook zijn we naar kleine dorpjes en strandjes aan de kust geweest. Eigenaar Richard voorzag ons van handige links in Google Maps, waardoor we plekjes hebben gevonden die we anders zeker niet hadden weten te vinden. Eigenaar Richard was altijd beschikbaar en informeerde regelmatig hoe we het hadden. Alle communicatie met hem was zeer hartelijk en hij reageerde direct op onze vragen. De beheerster Marilou verwelkomde ons zeer hartelijk. We hebben genoten van de door haar gemaakte maaltijd op de dag van aankomst. Kortom, een plekje om nog eens terug te komen en we raden een verblijf in Casa Isabella zeker aan! ##### Annemiek W. Wir haben wunderbar ruhig geschlafen in den bequemen Betten. Morgens und abends konnten wir gemütlich auf der Terrasse mit Blick auf Noto oder übers Tal speisen. Der Standort ist perfekt für Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Zur Sicherheit gibt es ein dickes Schlüsselbund und eine Alarmanlage. Die Umgebung bietet Möglichkeiten zum Wandern, Radfahren, Stadtbesichtigungen, Strandaufenthalte u.s.w. ##### Iris G.
