Guests can drive five minutes to the beach or take a 12–15 minute walk to the Blue Spirit Retreat Center. Playa Garza provides calm swimming, local dining, and fishing charters, while Guiones Village offers surf, yoga, shopping, and restaurants—all within minutes. A car is recommended for convenience, but taxis and airport shuttles are available. Multi-week discounts apply, and for stays of 30 days or longer, electricity is billed separately. TRAFFIC NOISE While the home is set within a private center with internal roads, some traffic noise may still be heard due to its relative proximity to the main road. LOCAL QUIRKS | WHAT TO EXPECT Life in Nosara is relaxed and full of charm — but it comes with a few quirks! You may experience dust, bugs, or brief power, water, or internet outages. Construction noise is also possible between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. as the area continues to grow. If reliable internet is essential, consider adding a mobile data plan. Please note that local septic systems don’t allow toilet paper to be flushed — bins are provided. These are normal aspects of life in Costa Rica and outside our control, so refunds aren’t offered for such occurrences. SAFETY & CANCELLATION While we honor our cancellation policy, processing fees are non-refundable for guest-initiated cancellations. Petty theft can occur, so please keep doors locked, valuables secured, and use alarms or security bars when available. A private guard can be arranged upon request. Pura Vida! La piscine est magnifique, on s’y baigne à toute heure du jour. Il y a de splendides plages tout près. Le petit village de Garza est authentique et agréable. Our little villa was clean, secluded with a beautiful infinity pool. The kitchen was full service with a nice refrigerator and washing machine. The washer and dryer left a little to be desired, but everything else was wonderful. We definitely would book here again. ##### Harold S. The pool was great fun for all of us. The space private and comfortable. Love the big open doors and the dining table just outside from the kitchen was perfect. I think some of the kitchen ware could use a little updating, but overall we did just fine. The staff were all so kind. The pool and patio got messy very quickly with the trees around, but the staff came several times a week to keep up and we also cleaned it daily ourselves since we spent most of our vacation there.
