« The home is charming, immaculate and amidst woods with no neighbors in eye or earshot. It is on a dirt road, so an awd vehicle is a good idea. A stream runs along the driveway. The Ottauquechee River is across the road. The bathroom is on the first floor, and bedrooms on the second floor. The smoke detector goes off if you saute on the stove. I recommend learning how to turn off a wired in smoke detector. You should open the kitchen window when you saute, because most of the smoke detectors...

« The stay was nice. The unit appears to have just been rehabbed with all new everything. Items that should be addressed are identifying the unit. That small number is not working. Can't be seen from the road or parking. Not handicapped friendly. Never found the pool, spa or other activities. Information should be provided in the unit. Overall I would recommend this unit. 4 🌟 »

« What an incredible experience. The cabin was the perfect size for me and my very tall boyfriend, it had everything we could possibly need. It was clean, bed was comfy, ac worked amazingly and the outdoor space is perfect. The property is set up so well that you feel secluded without actually being secluded, we are already planning our next visit. »

« My husband and I plus our 3 yr old dog Rags spent a wonderful couple of days at the Carriage House. The location was perfect within easy reach of Woodstock and the house was beautifully decorated, warm comfortable and spacious. The owners left us a pair of eclipse glasses which was such a thoughtful touch. We hope to visit again soon! »

« Although the stream was devastated by the Vermont floods, it was still enjoyable to relax and watch pass by. Several opportunities to explore the area for fishing and hiking. Host was very accommodating and attentive. The wood burning stove made some of best vacation breakfasts ever. Great vacation! »

We were informed on the day of arrival that the dryer was replaced and would be hooked up three days after the start of our rental.
