The spacious rooms offer inviting and comfortable holiday accommodation for larger family groups. The garage has been converted into a games room to include table tennis and snooker table. Some rooms have character stripped wooden floors, the large living room has a woodburner and leads out to a sheltered enclosed lawn garden with patio, seating furniture and barbecue. Happisburgh village offers village shop, pub serving good food, and lighthouse, open on Sundays during the main summer season, where visitors can view its workings and enjoy the fantastic views. Attractions for all can be found at the seaside resorts of Cromer and Sheringham, half an hours drive, with Blue Flag Award sandy beaches, pier, promenade gardens, golf courses, Splash swimming pool and Poppyline Steam Railway, journeys through beautiful countryside and neighbouring coastal villages onto Holt. Norfolk Broads for waterfront cafes, restaurants, boat hire, river trips, fishing (in season) and sailing, 7 miles. Hickling Broad with Wildlife Trust nature reserve, 6 miles. City of Norwich, cathedral, castle museum, cafes, pubs and excellent shopping, 20 miles. Shop and pub 1/2 mile. Families or couples only. We had a lovely week at Pembroke House, the rooms are large. The games room was great. Garden is pretty, functional and sunny all day. We are a multi generational family aged between 21-78 and the dining and front rooms had plenty of seats, so bonus no fighting for chairs! The kitchen is kitted out so well with everything you could need for self catering and there’s a lovely big BBQ. The only negatives were the mattresses are possibly at the end of their life (very soft with roll together) and the bathrooms and kitchen are functional if a little dated. Happisburgh beach is lovely and clean with good parking facilities. We highly recommend Shambles cafe/bistro in North Walsham for a delicious dinner. ##### Lee M. Séjour de 7 nuits en juillet 2023
