« We never completed checkin. The photos are not of the current property. They one had one room in any condition to be used, and it was not comparable to the photos listed. The manager was new, and helpful, and did issue a refund. »

« We loved our stay at the cabin! The Hucks hospitality made our stay exceptionally enjoyable! They gave excellent restaurant recommendations and we visited the lake bog they also recommend. We also enjoyed walking through the trails on the property. We were disappointed that oddly we seen no wildlife on the property not even a squirrel or rabbit. We loved our stay and appreciate how the Hucks made our stay so very much enjoyable. »

« The location was perfect for us. Close to campus, the river, grocery store and downtown resterants. It was clean and had lots of space. It would have been nice to have. sponge for the kitchen sink and soap for the showers. »

« was fantastic. Had a lot of character. Was rustic, but had everything you need like heat/ac and wi-fi. The out house was surprisingly nice. Bare essentials for cooking. The neighborhood was pretty empty at the time of our stay, very private. The view was beautiful from the cabin, right on the water..Beautiful stars at night. It was our first time in northern maine, would love to come back. »

« This was our first time in Aroostook County and we weren’t sure what to expect and now we can’t wait to come back! This house was truly amazing! It had everything that we needed to make our week magical. It was perfect for our dogs and the lake was perfect. The water was great and we loved exploring the different parts of the lake on our paddle board. Cross ride to the Canada boarder, easy to cross into NB and get back. Overall, perfect place for a family vacation. »

« The cabin is just what I was hoping for and just what I needed. Although the little lake town of Portage has changed, the lake itself is like I remembered as a kid. I would highly recommend this cabin and I look forward to coming back again. »
