This beach house was a convenient 5 min walk to the cute downtown area with shops and restaurants, and was only a 15 minute walk to the wedding. We loved the property. The house was clean, nicely decorated and had stunning views on the water. On the first night we had an amazing sunset. Swans and geese swam up as well. It was perfect because they brought their dog with them from Connecticut. It was scenic and had queen beds for my brother and sister in law and their adult children. Owner was extremely communicative and straight forward. We rented three other properties in Northport and none were as responsive as Richard was. In fact, another property neglected to leave sheets or bedding for their pull out and overnighted sheets left my cousin without bedding for one night. Richard had all the bedding prepared. As serene and peaceful as it gets and only blocks away from a plethora of great restaurants, bagel shops, boutiques and more. The Northport Hotel (tremendous restaurant) offers rooms at 450 per night so the value of this home speaks volumes. A rarity in a very upscale market. Richard was so kind and Made everything easy and comfortable. The view was incredible and I loved sitting out on the deck with my coffee! The short walk to the bakery and park with our dogs was one of my favorite things to do there. Highly recommend the sunset cruise with Captain Lee from Just Us cruising too!
