Online Guest Concierge Contactless check-in Isthmus Bay is the home to affluent summer vacationers and is located just outside of Lion's Head, a charming village located on the 45th parallel and mid-Peninsula. The rocky headlands of Lion's Head are part of the long ridge of ancient limestone that forms the famous Niagara Escarpment. Nature, the sculptor, with tools of wind, rain and frost, has carved fantastic shapes along the face of these limestone bluffs. The massive form of a lion's head about 168 feet in height (one more distinctly visible than now) guards the entrance to the snug harbour.
