There is a massive yard and fire pit which we took full advantage of the entire time. There are great views of Jay around the property and it was very quiet. A perfect peaceful retreat for us. The house had all the amenities we needed. We have stayed at several properties in the area and this is the best maintained house we’ve seen. The wifi was great too allowing my husband to work easily from the house (and even the yard!). We grabbed drinks at the resort at Jay Peak and it was an easy 10-15 minute drive. We had an incredible brunch at the Jay Village Inn nearby and strongly recommend it to anyone who visits. We want to come back this winter for a ski trip with friends! ##### Mallory S. Beautiful location for our getaway! It was exactly what we were hoping for! Our host, Tom, was very responsive and helpful with suggestions for restaurants and local information. The home was equipped with everything we needed! The beds were comfy. The large table was perfect for meals and some board games . The yard is expansive, no neighbors in sight, just birds chirping and a peaceful sense of relaxation while sitting on the deck , having a cup of coffee. Troy Country Store is just a few miles away , with great subs, pizzas, baked goods, local brews. The huge firepit with Adirondack chairs was a perfect place to spend the evening! Firewood was provided. We enjoyed toasting marshmallows over the fire, and stargazing . The stars were brilliant ! Saw my first shooting star! Can't wait to return !
