This was the quiet solitude we'd hoped for. The cabin has everything you need for your stay, especially with the great kitchen. We had temps from the mid 80s to below freezing, but always comfortable inside. There's a grocery store a short drive away so you can easily get anything your forgot plus groceries for your stay. The neighborhood is super quiet especially considering the large plot the property sits on. Between the resort and the town of Newport nearby, you can have a quiet stay too or easy access to more. Beautiful scenery. Cabin was amazing and had everything we needed to enjoy a quiet weekend away from everything. The views out every window were great. So peaceful with really the only sounds you hear is nature. The foliage in mid October was near peak and was amazing. The only downside is you are miles from places to eat but the Jay Village Inn took good care of us! ##### Marsha J.
