« A beautiful historic house that was comfortable and convenient. We will recommend to our friends and look forward to returning. Breakfasts were good and it was nice to have them brought to our room. Staff were friendly and we were well cared for. Parking was easy and secure. The house is 2 min from downtown Dundee. »

« The room definitely needs updating. The bathroom tub was dirty and rusty. No towels wash cloths or tissue in room upon check in. One of the slides was not working. Food was not the best and extremely overpriced. Water park felt overcrowded and half the games in the arcade were either broken or not working at all. The staff was extremely nice and friendly except the young man at the store he wasn't very talkative or helpful definitely got the sense he didn't want to be there. The elevator closest...

The mural was painted sometime after Siegfried Metzger opened his wholesale fruit and vegetable company in 1923. 

The mural was buried in the 1940's when a two-story loading garage was added to the building.

I hope to post more pictures as the restoration/recreation progresses.
