"No major complaints. Would of been nice to know which of the 3 containers is soap shampoo etc. Also wouldn't hurt to have access to garbage bags as the one in the bathroom was missing. Overall very happy with the place."

"While we had a good night at this property, and the kitchen and common area were great, the place was not particularly clean, there was only one bathroom for 12 beds and the room and bathroom door locks were not functional. We did not know which room was ours and had to figure that out by finding someone who could tell us. It seemed that not all of the work was finished to get this property ready to use. That said, it was peaceful, quiet and calm. "

"We went on a spur of the moment cycling trip to Salt Spring Island. The hills were tough but at the end of that error in judgment was the gem that is Hummingbird B&B. "I am in BC for work and had to stay over the weekend so I took the ferry from Horseshoe Inlet to Nanaimo. The ferry is easy and an enjoyable ride. The Savvy Seagull was a great place to stay. Very clean and the fireplace made it feel very comfortable in early Spring. Ray was very helpful and accommodating to my late check in. Thanks for everything!"

"Our stay was great at the backpackers B&B on salt spring island. The location is great, very central and close to town. The B&B is brand new, the bedding is clean and the shared spaces are big. Beautiful property, with an adult slide in the back."

"Great spacious property with a great full kitchen. Teen loved pool table. Cleaning job wasn’t that thorough. Fridge had not been wiped out after last guests and the cupboard handles and hoodfan etc were kinda gross. I had to give the fridge and kitchen a good wipe before I could unload but otherwise the place was nice. Comfy beds. The deck floor needs a good power wash or something but wasn’t too bothered by that."
