You can hear the ocean through the patio doors and its wonderful to listen to. Bathrooms were clean, beds were comfortable. The front door was really tough to open AND close, like it was offset somehow. The patio door was also hard to open and close, was unsure if it was latching correctly. I did have a minor inconvenience in where my travel hair dryer decided to not work one morning....however I found a hair dryer underneath one of the sinks which REALLY saved me! I am very thankful for that. I did not try using any of the medicine cabinets as they looked very old, yellow and I did not want anything to break if I did try using them. The kitchen was very functional. I liked the inside decor. I would recommend again. ##### Carol T. The reason I am only giving it 3 stars is because this unit just desperately needs some upgrades. The stove is very old and only two burns worked, one in the front and one in the back which made it difficult at times when we wanted to prepare meals in instead of going out. The TV in my parents room with the queen bed didnt work so they couldnt use it and the unit over all just needs some minor repairs that they said at check in that they were aware of. He also won't have to ask what it was like growing up poor with appliances that only had two burners working and shelves that fell out of the refrigerator when we opened the door the first time. (The silicon caulking that was holding them in place must have gotten hot, since the refrigerator took a whole day to cool down.) Aside from these issues, the building management was apparently in the process of replacing the siding on our unit from 8 to 4 every day. We can now identify by sound the brand, size and operator of the various staplers, nailers and drills that they used. When the maintenance man came in on Monday to fix the internet and cable, he couldn't even hear the technician over the phone at Spectrum to fix the modem. The picture of the ocean on the inside of the wall was moving so much we were getting sea sick. But at least the elevator was in operation for 4 out of the 7 days we were there. Please realize that if you book an ocean front unit at this property, the elevator does not let you out on the same level as your unit. You will have to go up or down stairs. The view from the balcony is absolutely beautiful. We were on the third floor and had some fun conversations with the workers as they went up and down their scaffolding which was attached to our balcony roof, with a very loud impact drill. At checkout, everyone apologized for the inconveniences and said that the manager would be in touch to offer some compensation. No one bothered to get in touch with us. There are just some condos that you can tell whether or not the owner cares about it. This is not one of those units. I kid you not, the hole in the toilet seat was smaller than a Styrofoam plate! It reminded me of a training potty! (Another thing my kids don't have to try to remember.) The location of this unit has a lot going for it. But, it could really use some work. I was told when I booked this condo there was approximately three steps to get to this condo once off the elevator. I was looking for a handicapped accessible condo because I was bringing my mother with me who is 83\. This condo has about eight steps once off the elevator to get to the front door. It was very hard for my mom to maneuver the steps and the luggage cart had to be parked at the top of the steps and the luggage carried up and down the steps on arrival and departing. ##### Joyce H. Plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 teens. Rental was as described. Close to everything! Had an issue with ants in a bedroom and an inoperable electrical outlet. Upon notifying the office, the issues were resolved in a timely manner. We very much enjoyed our stay at the beach! ##### Shelley P. Compared to other units I have stayed in this one was in good condition. The fixtures, oven, etc are outdated or very basic but are functional. Quite a few cosmetic issues but you find that with most rentals. Overall, my family and I would stay there again! ##### Pam P. Elevator was broken move in day. Up to the top floor with all of our stuff by stairs. Went grocery shopping for the week, carried all to the top floor by stairs. Room was nice, balcony is screened in so cannot take pics from balcony. TV takes 5-10 minutes to turn on. The instructions left by owner are useless, the remote doesn’t even have the button they tell you to push. You have to figure it out, then still takes 5-10 minutes to come on. Pool is nice, but has no tables. Only lounge chairs and no trash can (which seems petty, but you realize how much you need a trash can when you don’t have one) Overall pretty nice l, but don’t think it should be priced the same as the nice places. ##### John S.
