The upstairs master in the morning with the doors open was everything we hoped it would be. It was fully stocked, had everything we needed and was quiet. Pests were not a problem here, its clean, and pretty well kept. Abundance of parking.The cons: had some minor maintenance issues. pool deck needs some repairs, a couple of the chairs were broken, some of the doors were a bit wonky. The floors could use a proper deep clean. None of it affected our ability to use the space. We had some trouble with the keyless entry code at checkin and the host responded within minutes. Otherwise, the property name is literal. The entire back yard is deck. There is a strip of grass on either side yard. The listing shows a dock, the dock is NEXT DOOR, and not included althought there is a picture od it in the listing. Its a great property and we loved every minute of our stay. ##### Elaine A. Gaping hole in the upstairs entrance door allows bugs to enter. A few items would make it a better rental. Better toaster, more coffee cups.Tv on the Back Deck near the pool area, Iron and Iron Board and some complimetary dishwasher soap for the stay would have been nice. The Pool area was great and we did use the grill however it is was old and not cleaned. Bed matresses could be updated. Parking was good and the Home manager was very quick to reply and take care of a few things we had trouble with. Nice property but for the price we would not stay here again. ##### Scott F. But, overall enjoyable, just disappointed from what we booked from pictures and aspects verses what was accurate to location. However, the house itself especially the kitchen needed some upgrades. The view and the pool make this property! On the downside - the house and all its belongings are worn out! Even the boards on the deck were about to giveway. Our vacation was at the end of the season and the house was not clean - sure surfaces were clean but the drawers and closets in the kitchen were not. If you like to cook on vacation - this is not the rental for you. It barely had enough to sustain my family of 8 .... and we used paper plates. A positive was the pool area, very beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. The negatives were the condition of the property, there were many items needing repaired or were broken. There was a window blind in the main bedroom that was tied up and inoperable, there were 8 other blinds throughout that were bent or broken. There was a 12" hole in the bedroom wall and two other small holes in the bathrooms. The rear deck needs to be painted, and some boards were protruding up and rotten. The patio bar area also needs painting. Some of the kitchen cabinet doors just fall off when you open them. The front storm door isn't attached with a closure, so it just flings open and hits the wall. They do not leave you any bath soaps, shampoos or dishwashing detergent. Small sample sizes would be nice and thoughtful. The downstairs bathroom shower floor was not cleaned well, and we found a 3" cockroach under one of the beds that was explained as it was common to have those close to the beach. The last not enjoyable part was having to walk outside in inclement weather to go upstairs or downstairs.
