It was everything we were hoping for and more. My husband was in a Bass tournament for the weekend and I decided I would join him this time. I found this lovely place that was a short distance from the ramp he would use to launch and I could just enjoy the lake. I wanted to be able to get right on the lake and feel safe if I was swimming or kayaking alone. It was perfect, we had our own private spot and I relaxed the minute we got there. There is a public boat launch right down the road as well. The apartment above the garage is so homey and clean. The views are spectacular from all the windows. Sunrise over the lake view and sunset view from the back porch overlooking a private field. Mike and Liane are superb hosts who were so helpful if we had any questions and I could tell enjoyed the fact that we loved their place so much. Truly good people that I hope to keep in touch with. I could see myself retiring to a spot just like this. So bring your best floatie and your best mate and be ready to let your cares just drift away. ##### Helen Z. The apartment is spotless and so new I couldn't believe anyone had ever stayed there before us. It was a sweltering August weekend so the AC came in handy, although we also enjoyed sitting on the dock in the evening to take advantage of the island breeze.
