Biggest one is that the pool doesn't even have a pump that cleans it. Water is extremely dirty with a grime sheen seen on top of it. Upon asking Mike, he just makes excuses and false promises. Hot water tub is frigid cold and is also filthy. Looks like it's used in the pictures to attract people. Other reviewers either don't care about cleanliness or are fake. Inside the cottage, 2 out of 5 showers don't get hot water, toilet seats are broken. We saw a dead mouse in the AC shaft. Multiple doors don't lock from inside. This lodge was everything my friends and I wanted to rent for a New Year's gathering! We found the Myers Cave Resort Lodge to be spacious, clean and cozy. There was enough space for 18 people, which is no easy feat. The kitchen came fully stocked with everything we needed for cooking, and we especially appreciated the large dining area and living room.
