House was immaculate when we arrived. Kitchen is well appointed with good appliances (Jenn Air). We had one hiccup in getting the dishwasher to start; pinged the host and they called within minutes on a Saturday (my son had figured it out just before they called!) 0.7 miles from Megansett Beach, very close the Shining Sea bikeway trail head. We beached it, went kayaking and bike riding! The house has a large back deck with a Webber gas grill. If the wind is up, you can be out there a little bit; if not, you'll have bugs to deal with! Once you step off the deck, you are into a dense swamp (so you don't want to let the dog off the leash else you'll have a muddy mess to clean, but the outdoor shower can help with that). Close proximity to major routes with most beaches just a few minutes drive away. We recommend getting a non-resident beach sticker for the week so that you can visit all 10 beaches Falmouth has to offer.
