This ranch-style home features ample space for a large family or group of friends with two comfortable living rooms, a spacious screened-in porch set up for al fresco dining, a fully fenced yard, and of course the in-ground pool. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking essentials, so make yourself at home. Smart TVs in the primary bedroom and both living room make for a cozy night in with takeout from one of Charleston's many famous local restaurants. After a long day of fun your group will find comfortable sleeping arrangements: • Bedroom 1: King • Bedroom 2: Queen • Bedroom 3: Queen • Living Room: 2 Full-sized futons + 1 air mattress SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK. There is no lifeguard on duty and children should be supervised at all times. The pool is cleaned regularly & is net-cleaned between every guest, but there are lots of trees around and there will be tree-debris in the pool. Two long-handled pool nets are provided. Please only park in the driveway or in front of the home on the street. Do not park in any other spots in the street. Guests will be fined for parking on street This home is conveniently located next to I-26, so you will hear some noise from the interstate only when outside. Pet friendly with $60.00 pet fee! This was a nightmare vacation. The neighborhood the host said he would let me know if I could check in early after the cleaners were done. So when I got to the house I said I’m here he sent me the code to get in and after I seen the house was not like it pictured on VRBO I called him and spoke to a Jonathan he said I couldn’t enter the house it wasn’t ready so I left. Then I got a text from John the host saying he didn’t say I could go in which was a lie. But at the end of the day that was just the beginning of the nightmare. We got in the house it was 80 degrees the pool furniture was sitting by the road the trash was everywhere and the pool wasn’t clean . So I called again and he said if I got out today I could get 50% of my money back. But I was not taking only half. So we decided to go to the store I got enough food for a 5 day and to stay. Then got back to the house again and the temperature in the house was 82 degrees so I contacted John again he said the house was fine, nothing wrong with the air conditioning and it’s hot out! nothing he would do. After calling VRBO he offered me 3 days back of my money. He would keep 2 days and cleaning fee. There 4 hours! I told him we are not going to go, and we had unpacked all our stuff and bought 300.00 of food .we were staying would he buy fans he said nothing ! so I bought fans! then the toilet backed up called again nothing. for 3 dayNothin.some nice person answer saying someone would be out.never came ![The pool furniture when we got there took 3 days to pick up . We never had anything to use ask them to replace it. It was clean and fully stocked in the kitchen. The beds were comfortable. There were plenty of towels. The game room was in a separate area behind the pool and it was a great space. It had its on kitchenette and full bath. The pool was amazing and made the stay even better. It’s about 20-40 minutes to most attractions/beaches and downtown. You can hear traffic and there is an air force base nearby so you can hear planes but my son thought it was cool to see them ascending. The host is quick to respond and is very kind. ##### Kim H. Here's a balanced, honest, and helpful review based on your experience:---3.5/5 Stars – Great Location and Pool, But Some Maintenance IssuesWe stayed at this Charleston, SC house for five nights and really enjoyed the location and having a private pool—it was perfect for relaxing after exploring the city. The house was generally clean and spacious, and check-in was easy.However, there were a few issues that took away from the overall experience. The spare bathroom had mildew in the caulking, and the door would stick when closed. The pool company arrived without notice during our stay, which was a bit inconvenient. The AC did not cool the house properly but they did offer to bring window units they are working on getting it fixed, and the mattresses and pillows could definitely use an upgrade for better comfort.With a little attention to maintenance and comfort details, this place could be a solid five-star rental. Host was super responsive prior to this question. The house is old and has patched up work on the walls that is not painted. I wish the host posted the surrounding neighborhood, as we would have chosen a different area. We’re not from the Charleston area, but pictures would have spoken volumes.
