"Beautiful place. well equipped. Excellent lcoation- c;lose to Two Medicine. The only Concern is that it is advertised as a 3 BR. What it is is two great bedrooms plus a loft, The loft is stair accessible and nice but it is not private and does not have a bathroom. Great for teenagers not necessarily for an adult couple. There is a lockoff available but that is additional to what is already a. hefty price. Superb place if the above does not bother you."

Spacious New Listing Centrally Located to Explore Glacier Park

Spacious New Listing Centrally Located to Explore Glacier Park

10/10 Excellent
"We stayed six nights (Sep 1–6) as a family of four and the Red House worked perfectly. It’s 20 minutes to Two Medicine, 45 to St. Mary and about an hour and a half to Many Glacier, so we could do a full hiking day and still be back for dinner at the house. Comfortable, clean, everything we needed to cook meals, and host was very responsive and helpful before and during our stay. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying on the east side. FWIW It’s further from the airport than west glacier but we always got into the park with no lines unlike the massive backups we saw at west glacier. Would stay here again!"

Glacier Park Lodge

Glacier Park Lodge

10/10 Excellent
"This beautiful historic lodge was such a special experience! The common areas are warm and inviting. Sit in the comfy chairs in front of the fireplace, listen to live music in the evenings. We enjoyed lounging on a rainy day. A guest sat at the piano and played, an unexpected treat. History abounds in the photos and info boards throughout the lobby lounge, so informative! The souvenir shop had quality gifts and mementos. Wanda, the woman at Information was outstanding! So helpful and friendly! While we loved the common areas, beware, this is an old historic lodge and there is no elevator! We carried our bags to the 3rd floor. Rooms are very small and bathrooms even smaller. The sink is tiny, you can't really turn around in the shower. If you like being pampered, this is not for you! The lodge location is fabulous for access to the east park, and well worth the stay. I would do it again. Being prepared for the experience makes it better."

"If you don’t want to deal with steep steps up to the loft area, Amtrak trains going by at night, and a rooster crowing every morning, you should probably skip this place. If you don’t mind any of this, it’s a cute and reasonably priced place to stay outside Glacier National Park. Good coffee shop next door. The bed in the loft was super cozy and a great place to nap if it’s raining. Probably a better choice for younger, agile people due to the stairs up to the sleeping area."
