Sandy Point is close to TCH but far away enough to enjoy the outdoors, along with the peace and serenity of mother nature. Exploits River is alive with Salmon in the summer, the river is one of the top destinations for salmon fishing in Newfoundland. Excellent get away for a family, friends and couples looking to relax or enjoy a little fishing, hiking or biking etc. Enjoy a two bedroom fully furnished cottage in overlooking the river. 15- 20 min. drive east of Grand-falls off TCH. This reservation has a Flexible cancellation policy - refunds will be issued up to 30 days prior to the check in date. A 100% refund is provided for travellers cancelling at least 30 days before check-in. A 50% refund is provided for travellers cancelling from 14 to 29 days before check-in. No refunds are provided for travellers cancelling less than 14 days prior to check-in. CanadaStays Booking Fees are refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of placing your booking request. The cabin is located in a beautiful quiet area and the property is really private. The woodstove made the cabin really cozy in the evenings and the Mini Split kept the place warm when I was away. Twillingate, Leading Tickles, Bottwood, Bishop’s Falls, and Grand Falls/Windsor were easy day trips from the house. While at the house we enjoyed meals on the deck overlooking Norris Arm .
