Sojourn welcomes you to this gorgeous 2 bedroom, 1 bath beach apartment, 1950's building but newly appointed apartment.. The apartment was partially renovated in the summer of 2021, a new kitchen and bathroom, with furnishings from Article, Crate & Barrel and West Elm. This home sleeps 4 with 2 fantastic queen beds, TV's in every room, feather duvets and pillows, a fully appointed kitchen, giga blast wifi We include free Netflix and Hulu for every tv. The Space: Beach Construction Notice: The City of Norfolk will begin a sand replacement project on Toler Place and Willoughby Beach (from 11th View St to the terminal groin) in response to significant erosion from recent high tides. Work will take place Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, beginning in late May 2025 and continuing through late July 2025\. You will have to use the beach from 11th Bay and down to enjoy the beach. Please be aware that the impacted section of the beach will be closed during work hours but will reopen in the evenings and on weekends. Alternate access to the beach is available via 11th View St and other nearby entry points. This home sleeps 4 with 2 fantastic queen beds, TV's in every room, feather duvets and pillows, a fully appointed kitchen, giga blast wifi and a front deck accessed from the side of the building. We include free Netflix and Hulu for every tv. Please note the deck overlooking the beach is accessed out the front door and is not a direct access onto the balcony. There is no private balcony. Beach chairs and towels are provided. We are pet friendly with a $75 per pet per week fee. Beach chairs are available. The Neighborhood: Willoughby Spit is a great neighborhood to check out on foot or bike with water on both sides! Our side contains over 7 miles of uncrowded and awesome beaches with small waves right on the Chesapeake Bay. Pet Policy Most of our residences are pet friendly and welcome your four-legged companions. Kindly inform us of any pets joining your stay so we may update your reservation accordingly. We do love furry companions, but we do have some properties that are not pet-friendly. Parking was good and the location facing the bay was very nice. You can see ships come and go all day. There are ceiling fans in every room and the kitchen is nicely stocked. The downside is the neighborhood. I wouldn’t have felt too safe walking around. No restaurants or grocery stores are walkable that we saw. Another downside is the furniture (except the beds) is not really comfortable. There are only 3 spots at the dining table and 3 lounging spots. All that said, I would rent it again as it worked for the two of us. ##### Lisa S.
