The German Tourism Association has awarded the holiday home four stars. The 2018 renovation of the house is not yet considered in this assessment. The holiday house EWALD with approx. 80 sqm living space is ideal for an unforgettable family vacation or a vacation for two. The house comprises a living room, a kitchen, two bedrooms, a bathroom with a walk-in shower, a separate sauna area with toilet, sink and walk-in shower, two hallways and a large utility room. In the living room you experience the special flair of a log house. The wooden floor, the wood-clad walls and the open view to the gable of the house radiate pure cosiness. The kitchen is modern and equipped with a dishwasher, electric stove, oven, coffee machine and coffee pad machine. The spacious large bedroom contains a double bed, two chairs, a table, a large wardrobe and a TV. The smaller bedroom has two separate beds, a wardrobe and a dressing table. The beds are already made upon arrival. In the utility room there is a washing machine and dryer that can be used without an additional fee. The WLAN Internet connection available in the house is also free of charge. A cot and high chair are available for small children. From the living room and from the large terrace running along the outside of the living room you have a wonderful view of the more than 700 sqm natural garden. What is special about the garden is the varied variety. In addition to flower beds, the garden includes a garden shed, a large lawn and a beautifully grown tree population, which offers protection and refuge to birds in particular. The lawn offers plenty of space to play and can be used as a lawn. Sun loungers are located in the large garden house. For the children there is a sandpit, slide, climbing rope, swing and lookout tower! In the garden house there is, among other things, a large handcart that can also be taken on a beach excursion, numerous toys such as sand toys and ball games as well as two new bicycles that can be used without an additional fee. A second small garden house in the garden is not accessible. Garden tools and tools are located there. To the west and north of the garden there is a typical East Frisian pasture landscape. The view of this beautiful landscape is unobstructed. The driveway to the holiday home EWALD offers space for two vehicles to park. A large front garden adjoins the driveway, which is delimited from the street by a fence. A lockable garden door leads to the house and its garden. With the booking you will receive a lot of advance information about the north / north dike and East Frisia. This includes, for example, information about the region, tips for excursions, suggestions for smaller and larger bike tours through the East Frisian landscape, tips for holidays with children or restaurant recommendations. All information is based on your own experience and should help you to orientate yourself and feel comfortable from the start of your vacation. The costs for your vacation in a holiday home are calculable. The rental price covers all costs for electricity, gas, water, use of 2 bicycles and use of all other facilities and objects of the holiday home including the sauna. Household insurance is available for the bicycles and the objects belonging to the holiday home, which also provides financial protection against the theft of the bicycles. There is a service contract with a bicycle workshop that ensures a quick repair of the bikes on site and, if necessary, the provision of a spare wheel for the duration of the repair. Bed linen and towels are available in the holiday home and can be used for a fee of EUR 10.00 per person. If you choose to do this, the beds will be made up on arrival. You can also bring your own bed linen and towels. If you use bed linen and towels belonging to the holiday home in this case, they must be washed and dried on the day of departure. Contact us. Alles war funktionsfähig. Für Kinder gibt es Spiele und Bücher, und auch einen Tritthocker bzw. Hochstuhl falls benötigt. Zu viert hatten wir gut Platz, und freuten uns jeden Abend in die gemütlichen Betten zu fallen. Die nordischen Details machen es sehr wohnlich. Das Flair der Nordsee ist allgegenwärtig. Einige Tage hatte es bei unserem Aufenthalt geregnet. Wir konnten uns die Zeit mit der kleinen Bibliothek, vielen vorhandenen Spielen, den beiden Fernsehern, Internet und natürlich mit Saunagängen vertreiben. Die Sauna war das i-Tüpfelchen auf dem Aufenthalt. Bei schönem Wetter kann man es sich dann auf der großen Terrasse, in dem Strandkorb oder auf der Spielwiese gemütlich machen. Der Garten ist groß, schön und gepflegt, auf zwei Seiten sind keine Nachbarhäuser, sondern Schafe grasen dort. In der Regel ist es also sehr ruhig. Es gab einen Parkplatz für unseren Wagen direkt vor dem Haus. Die ideale Unterkunft für Familien oder Paare, die mit dem Wagen anreisen. Gleich nebenan gibt es einen sehr preiswerten Fahrradverleih und einen wunderbaren Fahrradweg nach Norddeich. Wir waren froh, nicht direkt am Meer, sondern in Norden zu wohnen, weil es dort nicht so überlaufen und touristisch war wie in Norddeich und alle Einkaufs- und Restaurantmöglichkeiten trotzdem in der Nähe lagen. Herr Bülter war ein sehr guter Gastgeber, der uns mit allen Informationen versorgte und uns mit einer liebenswerten Karte und mit Wein begrüßte. Hier gibt es nichst zu bemängeln. Angefangen von der üppigen Ausstattung, auch was Kleinigkeiten angeht, Sauberkeit, Waschmaschine, Trockner.....nicht gerade eine Standart-Ausstattung. Auch eine Sauna ist vorhanden. Der Garten ist schon mehr als Standart, kann mir gut vorstellen, das Familien hier auch gut aufgehoben sind. Auch das unterstellen von E-Bikes ist kein Problem, dafür gibt es ein kleines Gartenhaus. Der Kontakt,zu den Eigentümer, ist ebenfalls sehr gut und absolut freundlich, hilfsbereit. Man beachte die ausführlichen Hinweise zur Umgebung, Resaturant\`s, Fahrrad Touren, usw. die durch den Eigentümer, erstellt und bereitgelegt werden. Planen vorher, eigentlich nicht nötig. Vor Ort ist alles was das Herz begehrt. Auch der Kontakt zum Vermieter war super. So ausführlich sind wir noch nie informiert wurden. Da steckte wirklich Mühe drin. Platz für Familien mit zwei Kindern ausreichend vorhanden, da der große Garten mit sehr viel Spielgeräten (Schaukel, Rutsche, Kletterseil und Sandspielsachen ) bestückt ist. Gesellschaftsspiele und Bücher sind auch für alle Altersklassen da. Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet. Handtücher sind reichlich vorhanden im vollkommen eingerichteten Hauswirtschaftsraum. Vom supernetten Vermieter sind Ordner mit Ausflugszielen, Restaurants und persönliche Tipps bereitgestellt. Entspannung pur: die Sauna mit Nachruhen im nicht einsehbaren Garten. Der Garten ist groß, liebevoll angelegt und gepflegt mit vielen Spielmöglichkeiten für Kinder. Die beiden kostenlos nutzbaren Fahrräder sind leicht und treue Begleiter bei Touren in die interessante Umgebung. Dafür - wie auch für Informationen zum Einkaufen, Essengehen etc. - sind die von den Gastgebern liebevoll und detailreich zusammengestellten Informationen im weißen Hausordner eine super Anregung. Die Kommunikation mit den freundlichen Gastgebern klappte ebenso hervorragend wie die mit dem Reinigungspersonal. Verbesserungsvorschläge gibt es natürlich immer. In diesem Fall „auf sehr hohem Niveau“. In anderen Worten möglich, aber nicht unbedingt nötig: Wir hätten uns über etwas weniger staubanfällige Dekoartikel und damit mehr Ablagemöglichkeiten für eigene Dinge gefreut. Für gemütliche Leseabende in den bequemen Lesesesseln/auf dem gemütlichen Sofa wäre etwas helleres Licht durchaus förderlich. Insektenschutz an Terrassentür und einem der beiden Wohnzimmerfenster wäre das „Sahnehäubchen“ gewesen. Letztlich kein Problem: in der Campingabteilung des nahegelegenen Baumarktes haben wir günstig einen Streifenvorhang erworben und ihn spurlos entfernbar vor die Terrassentür gehängt. Dort hängt er nach Absprache mit dem Gastgeber auch nach unserem Urlaub. Ein kleines Dankeschön für große Gastfreundschaft. Am Abreisetag haben wir an der ehrenamtlich und mit viel Heimatliebe gestalteten Teezeremonie im Ostfriesischen Teemuseum teilgenommen. „Und immer schön den Rahm gegen den Uhrzeigersinn in den Tee fließen lassen: Dann vergeht die Zeit langsamer. ;-)“ Das war der gelungene Abschluss unseres erholsamen und entschleunigenden Urlaubs. Das Haus ist sauber und gepflegt und der Garten ist wirklich ein Traum, sehr gepflegt und gleich ans Grundstück grenzt eine Schafweide, was natürlich auch sehr interessant für die Kinder war. Außerdem gab es zig Spiele, Bücher etc im Haus und im Gartenhaus womit sich groß und klein beschäftigen konnte. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war stets sehr gut. Ein Paradies für Kinder. Das Ferienhaus Ewald ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Es ist sehr schön und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Besonders toll ist der große Garten, der viel Abwechslung bietet. Gerade für Kinder ist er ein Paradies. Es gibt einen Sandkasten, einen Kletterturm mit Schaukel und Rutsche sowie wahnsinnig viele spannende Spielsachen. Auch im Haus gibt es sehr viel für Kinder zu entdecken. Man kann eigentlich komplett ohne eigenes Spielzeug anreisen, weil genug da ist, um die Kleinen zu beschäftigen. Auch die übrige Ausstattung des Hauses lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Kommunikation mit Herrn Bülter war vor, während und nach unserem Aufenthalt perfekt. Er hat uns mit vielen tollen Tipps versorgt und man kann sich mit jeder Frage an ihn wenden. Auch im Haus sind viele Unterlagen und Flyer, um sich zu informieren. Wir haben leider nicht alles geschafft, was wir uns vorgenommen haben und werden irgendwann wieder kommen. Dann auf jeden Fall auch gerne wieder in das Ferienhaus Ewald. Vielen Dank für einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt.
