"This wasnt our 1st stay here, we visit NM several times a year. its absolutely our last. We had such a disturbing experience with valet here, and nothing beyond that actually matters. When we arrived, we planned to check-in and immediately leave to meet local friends. We pulled up and i heard my husband talking to the valet as he got out of the car and i sat inside my car with music and AC to wait for him. Suddenly, a man jumped in the drivers seat, put it in drive and started driving off with me. I yelled stop and he kept saying the other valet would drive out of the lot so fast, they'd hit me and cause spinal injury. he was the VALET! I literally thought i was being abducted, that's exactly how he behaved. We left to meet our friends and i tried to forget but as we pulled into the hotel again, now completely dark, we weren't even stopped yet and someone suddenly flings my door open. I had a bag of turquoise and shell jewelry on my lap that went flying into the parking area and of course, it's the same valet. I cannot believe they make this guy the 1st person you deal with, i hadnt even been inside yet. Unfortunately, it was spring break and like an elementary school playground inside. When we finally got to our room, i just wanted a shower and bed. No hot water!! Unreal. The bed was comfy tho. But honestly, i could not feel comfortable here after both valet experiences. If you won't allow self parking, valet needs to be IMPECCABLE. We sure wont return. "
