The beds were extremely comfortable. However, we felt that many aspects of the house were outdated, or not properly shared in the house description, and that the online reviews didn't reflect our experience. Without going into details, it should be noted that Casiola was quick to respond to us regarding the issues that they COULD do something about. However, the reality is that many aspects of the house need some love. Our biggest disappointment was the lack of hot water. Not only was it not working when we arrived, but we were told that there is no hot water supplied to anywhere but the showers and the kitchen. This was definitely not in the description of the home. I was NEVER able to get hot water out of the kitchen faucet myself. The lack of hot water in the kitchen meant that the dishwasher was ineffective in cleaning the dishes (the soap couldn't dissolve). We resorted to doing most of them by hand. The hot water in the showers was so finicky that most showers were not enjoyable - it was impossible to control the hot water. When there was some, it often was scalding. We recommend either updating the information in the listing so guests aren't surprised or disappointed, or updating the plumbing (including fixtures/faucets) in the house. The town with all the shopping beaches and restaurants was close by but if you don’t want to walk quite a distance you need a car to get around.
