It has 1 closed night area, with 2 bunk beds and 1 foldable queen size bed in the living room. It has an ideal location in the Carré D'Or in the city center, 1 minute walk from the Promenade des Anglais and its many beaches. It is located in the pedestrian area with a multitude of shops, restaurants and cafes. The apartment has a classic decoration. The white walls bring light to the living room. The wooden floors and the soft colors of the furniture give a soft and serene atmosphere. Fully equipped, you can only appreciate its layout, which makes the space friendly and good to live in. You will appreciate the quietness of the location on the courtyard side while you are in the city center. The mattresses of the 3 beds, soft and thick will be good companions for nights full of dreams. Thanks to the living room TV, you will be able to access your Netflix account in addition to the hundreds of international channels available. LIDO BEACH is accessible by lift. The apartment has: \- Free Wi-Fi connection by optical fiber \- Air conditioning in the living room \- Blackout electric shutters in the living room \- A lighted dressing room with drawers, shelves and wardrobe. LIDO BEACH has an ideal location in the Carré D’Or, in the city center. It is in the pedestrian zone, a lively district with a multitude of trade (bakeries, restaurants, supermarkets ...) All the must-see places in the city are within a 1 and 6 minute walk from the apartment: \- The Promenade des Anglais and its beaches \- The famous Place Massena \- Jean Médecin shopping avenue \- The "Coulée Verte" (garden in the middle of the city) \- Old Nice and its local specialties (spices, soaps, perfumes, confectionery ...) L'appartement est situé au premier étage sur une cour sordide, aucune vue. L'agence est fermée le Samedi et Dimanche les jours ou on a le plus besoin d'eux. Note: this is the first time I've ever posted a negative review. This place just does not live up to the care and attention that all the other VRBO rentals we've stayed at over the last ten years. The VRBO pictures were misleading, the place is quite small, the amenities were minimal and cheap. The room with the bunk beds is too small; it is Ok for a couple of kids, but hard to get in/out of for an adult, and the beds are not very comfortable. The kitchen is tiny, the electric hotplate does not work well, and the refrigerator collect water in the bottom which turned into a very smelly brown liquid. We had to call the concierge to fix it - they came, cleaned up the water (I thought they should have just replaced it with a fridge that worked) and the smell was gone for only a day or so. Finally, the back wall of windows faces another building, so you only get indirect sunlight, no breeze and no views. ##### Oliver M. The property was slightly difficult to find, but we figured it out. It doesn’t front, exactly on Rue Massanet, but you walk towards the Club Inn, bear left and up a half dozen steps on the right to the entry door, which opens with the included key fob. Then use the elevator to access the first floor where the apartments #201 is located. The apartment was as advertised, very well kept and clean. The only view out the sliding glass window was of an apartment building next door, with some sort of conference center or business on the first floor below. There is no oven, but it has an induction stove too and microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. We used none of these, mainly because of the number and variety of cafes and restaurants nearby. The location is what makes this apartment work. As mentioned, a plethora of restaurants within 100 steps, the beach and promenade about 3 blocks away, Old Town a 7-8 minute walk, and the Metro a 10 minute walk. The bed is a Murphy, pull-down style, not as comfortable as I would have liked but doable. Bring a bar of soap or gel, and if you’re staying 6 nights, prepare to buy extra tissue paper. ##### JOHN D.
