It is located halfway between the airport and the centre of town so perfect for a beach or city break. The sparkling waters of the Mediterranean will surely lure you away from your morning croissant to wander along the Promenade des Anglais and soak in the Côte d’Azur. Spaces Outside space The traditional, wrought iron balcony fits a table and chairs to enjoy the sea view over a leisurely breakfast, lunch or the iconic aperitif! Sunrise or sunset the azure waters will keep you enthralled. Bedrooms There are three double bedrooms (all mattresses are 140cm x 190cm), one beside the living room with a small window at the top and two at the back of the apartment. The main one has two windows, a built-in mirrored wardrobe, drawer space and bedside reading lamps. The other bedroom also has storage and there is reversible AC and double-glazing throughout. Bathrooms The bathroom has a shower cubicle, toilet and double basin with large mirror plus ample space for toiletries. Living and Dining area With three large French windows the open plan living space is designed to optimise light in the south-facing corner. Light wood flooring and worktops, and a splash of blue bring this room to life with a corner for relaxing on the L-shaped sofa, access to the balcony, and a round glass dining table. There is a TV with English news channels and wifi to stay connected. Kitchen A breakfast bar separates the kitchen area while still allowing the chef to enjoy the sea view! The kitchen area includes an electric oven and four hobs, microwave and filter coffee machine with a washing machine and dish washer for convenience. The location is perfect - a short tram ride to the airport, the city and the stadium. Bakery, small grocery store, beach (stones), restaurants and tram stop are very close. The apartment is very tidy and had everything we needed. You do hear the outside sounds and the walls are thin, but it's an old building. Which we thought was very charming. The only thing I'd mention is the curtains. There are none in the living room/bathroom, and the ones in the bed room dont keep out the light. There are shutters in front of the windows, but some are broken or wont close during our stay. Also, they still let the light through, even if they're closed. The building is another matter, as it is extremely dirty and run-down with window pains missing on other floors and our shutters had huge gaping holes. It appears as if painted or maintained the apartment in a century. When we arrived all the windows were open and as soon as we closed them we were appalled by a strong sewer smell. Also, the fact that the building's garbage cans are situated right under the windows where the back bedrooms are don't help. We tried to contact the agency Stay yna but they were already closed (it was about 6pm in France) , so we had no other option but to spend the night there. My wife ended up sleeping in bath towels on the sofa with open windows since the smell in the bedroom was unbearable. On the next morning we decided not to wait anymore and booked a hotel nearby, since we don't have many holidays, we already lost a night and we couldn’t risk losing another night if (as it seemed obvious) the smell did not go away. After many emails we got the commitment from Stay Yna to refund us for the nights we did not spend in the apartment- which is outrageous: they still charged us for one night in a place that is not in condition, plus a cleaning fee while we literally spent a few hours in the apartment and well, we also paid vrbo’s fee.
