Perfect for a family stay or with friends, it can accommodate up to 4 people thanks to its two spacious bedrooms. The apartment is located within a quiet building, just a few minutes walk from the main attractions of the city centre, public transport (Jean Médecin tram), the Opera beach, and Nice Thiers station. You will also be very close to the famous Masséna Square and the Promenade des Anglais, iconic symbols of the city. YOUR NEIGHBOURHOOD Ideally located just 300 metres from Jean Médecin Avenue, a major shopping street in Nice, the apartment benefits from a central location while being away from the tumult. Supermarkets, restaurants, bakeries, shops, beaches and transport are all within walking distance. You will also be 7 km from Nice Côte d'Azur Airport. STAY The spacious and air-conditioned living room welcomes you in a warm and refined atmosphere. All stations pass through Fabron, Grosso & Gambetta for the Flowers district, Alsace Lorraine and Jean Médecin for the Musicians, Gold or Masséna districts, the Pin district and finally the Port district. A connection with line 1 is made at JEAN MÉDECIN Station. A connection with line 3 is made at GRAND ARÉNAS Station. Taxis: The most direct: They are present at each terminal 1 & 2\. 15 minutes will be enough to drop you directly at your apartment. There is an official fixed rate that must be applied + the baggage rate. Make sure to inform yourself well and specify it to the driver; he cannot refuse it. Normally, the cost is payable by credit card. The bus: The shuttle to the airport (bus 98) is both cheap and convenient. It runs every twenty minutes during the day and will drop you off in the city centre, near Nice Thiers Station. I chose to arrive by train The tram - The best market: To get to line n°1, exit to the left of the station and go down towards Thiers Avenue until Jean Médecin Avenue (indicated by signage). Trams pass every five minutes and the ticket has a low cost. Line 1 serves the centre and the two northern districts of Nice. A connection with line 3 is made at GRAND ARÉNAS Station. A connection with Line 2 (Airport / Port) is at JEAN MÉDECIN Station. Taxis: The most direct: 15 minutes will be enough to drop you directly at your apartment. There is no fixed package. The driver must mandatorily activate his meter before leaving the station. You will only have to pay the fare displayed upon arrival + the luggage rate. Make sure to inquire and specify this to the driver; he cannot refuse it. Normally, the cost is payable by credit card. Do not forget to have the complete address ready to be given to the driver. I chose to arrive by car There is always a public car park near your place of residence. The rate is: • On time • Per 24-hour day • Per week • Per month It may prove to be more interesting to pay for a week rather than per day for stays longer than 4 days, and so on. Check the rate grid carefully at the parking entrance or go to the security post as soon as you are parked. Location was great and practical, but toilet was horrible with very loud sound that could be heard in the whole appartement every time for over a minute and woke us all up in the night. Light bulbs were burnt, faucets were wabbly, only 1 roll of toilet paper and 1 Cm of dish soap.walls were dirty, paint was peeling off the ceiling. Washer had old stuck soap and made our clothes stink. The host was not very helpful. Was supposed to come and we waited all Morning and never showed up….we did not want to wait any longer as we had very limited time in this city. Their offices were a good 15 min walk away, and we did go the first morning to let them know of the issues…. Nothing was ever done during our stay. Even if we offered 2 mornings were we would have been available…. They never came. We booked because it showed a room with 2 single beds and 1 room with a double bed . We showed up to 1 bed per room. We did not find enough linen to separate one of the beds into 2\. We only found 1 bedsheet so we used the couch for our teenage son. Not ideal at all. The host told us we should have let them know??!! We booked this appartement because it had 2 single beds and a double perfect for 2 teenagers and a couple. This is what we booked. Why would we need to tell them if that is what they advertised? They never solved the issue or helped so our son slept with a bedsheet on the couch for 4 nights.
