"We were badly advised by the housing manager who told us that we could do our shopping on foot because the house is far from everything. At the end of the stay the way to the beach was impassable. "Come here for authentic Nicaraguan lifestyle. Simple bedrooms, cold showers and Mom's cooking. Mark is very helpful, friendly and welcoming. Mark hosts every meal and invited guides to inform us about hiking the volcanoes and arranged a 4-wheeler to come directly to the hostel which was very convient. Don't stay here if you are expecting luxury. Property is conviently located near Altagracia but removed enough from the tourist scene. Three adoabrle kittys made it even to harder to leave this...

"Only complaint is there was little to no hot water for the showers. You would have to take a shower before 6 am or after midnight. I am not sure if it was just our bungalow or widespread. The facilities were nice. Nightly entertainment was lively and fun. Guests are encouraged to participate. I would visit again. "
